Donna is an amazing professor and human. She truly cares about all of her student and has an exceptional moral and ethical compass. I learned immensely and I would recommend this class to everyone. She is a real gem and deserving of a raise, a paid vacation to the Bahamas and a room full of sheepie dogs. I got an A, but that is irrelevant.

Professor Giancola is a real trip to say the least - and I mean that in a good way! Sometimes I feel like I'm more going on an adventure than attending a class. Her lectures can be a bit vague, but that's no fault of her own - those old philosophers are strange. Her lectures are always comical, informative, and all around enjoyable. Take her class!

Absolutely incredible professor. Not afraid to speak the truth on radical feminism and need to dismantle our patriarchal society. We're about a month in and she's already helped me shape my view for the better so much!

Giancola is one of the few radical feminist professors at Suffolk so she's super cool and hilarious and genuine. She's a little all over the place in her lectures and a lot of the stuff she says is vague and its hard to take notes, but she's an easy grader and easy going with late work. An amazing and caring women, good professor.

I usually don't rate a professor but this seemed necessary. She is probably the best professor I have had at Suffolk. She really cares about you and the course. She is always there to help. Make sure you read all the books to truly get a lot out of the course. You will learn so much. Such an amazing professor.

Professor Giancola, I think, is the best Philosophy professor at Suffolk. Through her lectures, I not only learned a lot about philosophy, but I learned a lot about myself. I highly recommend taking her class. She talks really fast, but I promise, her lectures are super interesting, and you will learn a lot.

Well... I have to say as an international student, sometimes hard to catch up her lecture. Prof Giancola speaks pretty fast, and she never gives notes in the class. But the course is wonderful and you can really learn something from her. I'm impressed by her passionate.

I love Giancola. She is an amazing, inspirational woman. Her classes are the best discussions I've ever been in, the books she had us reading were so fascinating and I cannot wait to take another feminist class with her. I encourage everyone to take a class with her to open up your mind. By far, one of the best professors.

Best Prof I've ever taken at Suffolk. She's laid back, if you go to class and listen to her lectures and rants, you'll get a good grade. She gives out exams way ahead of time and in her lecture she gives you all of the answers. I would take her again if I could

I honestly found it hard to follow Professor Giancola. It was almost impossible to tell what was relevant class content and what was a tangent. I love professors who are passionate about the subject they teach but its hard to discern what is her personal opinion and what is course content.
