This teacher is horrible!!!! Do not take her. I feel asleep in class all the time. she doesn't explain anything correctly and boring. She is also very rude and confused half the time when you ask her a questions. Do not take her!

Alright guys listen, she is a really nice lady and may go off topic a lot... but if you do the study guide questions and just look over the power points you will fine. Her class is not that hard considering you know a lot of it to begin with. If she is the only teacher that fits in your schedule, don't get mad ecase she's really not that bad.

Extremely nice lady and she really does mean well. However, her tests are rarely relevant to anything she talks about in class. If you read and study the text you should do okay. If she misses class she finds subs which is kind of annoying.

She repeats her self constantly and doesnt actually teach the material. She skips important parts of the chapters because she doesnt want to teach them. She never cancels classes. You can skip but be aware there is a quiz at the beginning of almost every class.

Not your favorite professor, but she is just okay. She is really nice though. Tells really awkward stories and has lame jokes, but she means well. Just read the book A LOT, she practically gets EVERYTHING from the text!

extremely boring class- most of the information i already knew way before ever taking the class. she gets off topic extremely easily. papers are very easy. if you do well on papers and participate, you could get low Bs on all tests and still get an A in the class. essays on tests were easy- you could argue to get points back on test questions

She is very nice. Gets off topic ALOT!!! Her lectures are not helpful at all so you really need to rely on the book. Only a couple out of class assignments. The class was pretty easy.

I am extremely passionate about psychology, and was very excited to start my first class at Elmhurst; Personality w/Goetz. Unfortunately, it was a complete letdown. I didn't learn anything new and was bored out of my mind every class period. I got an easy A though. If you learned what you were s'posed to in intro her tests aren't too bad.

Goetz means well. However avoid taking class with her. She is disorganized and BORING. On the up side this means she often messes up the scantron scores leading to curves. Make sure your grades match up though. Her lectures are useless and her tests are relatively hard. Her style and ability ruined a topic that should have been really interesting.

This class was terrible. Dr. Goetz is disorganized and unclear about expectations. Her tests have absolutely nothing to do with the lectures in class, and her syllabus was messed up because we had a different edition of the book than she did. Our project had nothing to do with the class and she didn't guide us at all. I will not take her again.

She doesnt do anything to make the class interesting. She sits in her chair and reads off the power points that come with the book. You dont learn anything if you have taken any kind of psych class before. Her tests arent bad but shes just miserable. Dont expect to get anything out of the course and bring a magazine so you can do something else...

Long lectures, sometimes boring & confused about chapters. Tests are multiple choice & short essay. Some questions come out of nowhere. Really have to read the book to cover what she doesn't which can be alot.
