She is an amazing teacher. As long as you study and work hard you'll do fine. SO SO GLAD I TOOK HER AS A TEACHER. She is honestly a nice lady with a tough exterior. Don't be afraid to ask for help.

Professor Jorgensen wasn't the easiest grader when it came to essays, however if you fufill the basic tasks assigned to the paper you will do well. Grammar matters to her! Read the stories and you'll be fine, she warns you about quizzes. You won't do well if you don't try, but it's not impossible to get an A as long as you put in some effort.

I love Mrs. Jorgensen. She is possibly the best professor I have ever had. She is super helpful, funny, and has amazing stories. She gives a lot of work but is very good about giving you the grade she thinks you deserve. She is so nice and just talks about life and truly made me enjoy literature. Definitely would recommend taking her for whatever.

I cannot say how much Dr. J has helped me this semester in AEG! The class is tough no matter what type of student you are. She helps you every step of the way by scheduling tutoring sessions (even on the weekends) and answering e-mails very quickly. You will have to work in this class but take her up on the opportunities she gives you to succeed.

I can not say enough about this professor. Doctor Jorgensen is great! She understands it is a hard topic and holds tutoring sessions every week for anyone struggling. She is available any time that you need her. It will be a lot of work, but she won't let you fail. One of my favorite professors by far! Such a sweet woman. Always there for students.

Dr. Jorgensen is one of the best teachers I have taken at Rowan. American English Grammar is not easy, but she does whatever she can to help you understand. She holds plenty of tutoring sessions over the week days andor weekends and will stay until you understand it. She emails us with extra practice if we want. Extremely dedicated professor.

I don't understand why DrJ has such good ratings. She sets these grand agendas each class & never even gets to number one. Instead classes consist of her babbling about whoknowswhat. She rarely answered my emails, then claimed she never got them. She makes me not want to be a teacher.

Really loves her career as an educator and tried to give that to her students. I tried to give her the benefit of the doubt, because this is the first semseter Rowan had TLCII:SMED, but she taught it as an English course (which it was not). Kind of expects everyone to already know how to be the best teacher, but overall learned a lot from her.

I believe that she's a wonderful teacher, but not for my class. We sit and listen to her talk for the entire two hours. I feel I have not learned anything in the past two months. She appears unorganized and uninterested in the signature assignments. Her class is boring.

I had Dr. J for Grammar & Practicum A. No lies, she is tough but you will learn a lot. She is 2 people for her classes:grammar she stuck to the test dates, assignments, & chapters to cover. You will work very hard, go to every darn class. For educ she is more fluid, relaxed, friendly.Go to office hours, do all work. BTW: A for educ, C in grammar.

Is very willing to help her students about grammar because most people are anxious about taking the class. She is very passionate about the topic which helps keep your interest. Doesn't try to trick you on tests; if you go to class and do the exercises you'll do fine.

I had dr. jorgensens for ped. 1, ped. 3, and she was my supervisor for student teaching. She was by far the best teacher I had at Rowan. She made me work hard, but she would do anything for her students at the drop of a hat. I learned a lot from her about the real world of teaching and she was always there to answer my questions.

if you want to learn how not to teach take her ped 1 class. we sat ther from 8am - noon listing to her babble. than came back for another 2 hours of babbling. if your and english major she will love you if not, bring a pillow.
