Personally, he's a nice guy. As a Prof, he's worthless. His tests are hard and have nothing to do with the reading or his lectures. The highest grade in my class was a C. Avoid this guy at all costs or your GPA will pay the price!!!

Read book + Take notes = A. Lectures are kind of boring but helpful if you manage to stay awake and take notes. Tests are usually from the book with a few Q's from lecture. Prof. Musco is a really nice guy who is willing to help if you are willing to ask.

If you're good with just reading/studying alot and do well very well on tests, take him. A few questions on the tests can be a bit tricky. Do the study guides always and take lots of notes! Read chapter once after the leacture and reread all of them again before each test! If you need homework to help with your grade, don't take him!!

Don't take this class if you actually expect to learn history, because trust me, YOU WONT!! However, if you're one of those that really hates history and doesn't care about anything else besides passing it and getting it over with, then by all means. He's a cool guy, good personality, no textbook necessary, and curves the class.

A nice person but doesn't really know how to teach. Very unorganized and always goes off topic. Total of 4 tests with difficult questions, so be sure to read the book thoroughly. He doesn't give any homework or project, so it's easy life. So, if you want an easy class and capable of studying on your own, take his class.

Took him for intersession, only went to abt 8 meetings, got a C. Curve friendly for the tests. No attendance, no homework, no projects. Easy life, but don't expect to learn anything. Abt 4 tests, fell asleep for the other days. Very strange man, forgets a lot of stuff, super unorganized. Bought the book, but dint use it.

I got an A in this class, and I don't know how. His curve came out of nowhere - no HW/Essays is a big plus. Lectures are completely useless. I spent 16 weeks listening to endless Bush bashing, the Bengals (NFL), why French bread is the bomb and how corporate America is a pain in his ass. Lame class, old dude needs to retire.

you need to read the book thoroughly to do well in his class... he occasionally goes off topic to rant about corporate america and fastfood and how he'd like to hunt down various CEOs. almost 90% of the tests are material that he doesnt cover, but he helps alot if you go to him after class. ask him for extra credit on days where few people show up

They should give him more time for lectures. I wanted to hear more. He sometimes goes off subject and talks about corporate evils but it's still interesting. He is one of the most caring teachers at PCC. (Oh, and you get the grade you earn so put a good effort in it!)

This class is for those of you that want to learn history. Reading the textbook is imperative for success in this class, as is taking notes. Participation is a plus. Don't obsess over the study guide. Expect detailed lectures with contemporary significance. His hearing is extremely poor fyi - so cut him just a little slack.

He's a nice guy and a gentleman. His study guides have little to nothing to do with the tests. You're better off reading the whole book or taking real detailed notes. He occasionally goes off topic on what's going on in today's news. He doesn't give out hwk which is good nor essays.

Mr. Musco is a nice guy. If you don't get it you could ask him and he will help you understand. Unfortunately for most, you are required to THINK and that is where people run into trouble. If you went to Dumb-dumb high school try to find an easier teacher.
