Comment:

She reads off of her power point for class. She likes to get students involved and asks questions to get us into a discussion. Our quizzes and exams are online. There's 1 group paper and each person needs to write about 2-3 pages so it's not bad. She passes a sign in sheet around at the end of class. She's very laid back and nice.

Online tests which are easy, used the book sometimes for the tests only, and her lectures are ridiculously long and boring but you need the participation. Group project SUCKED!! Be careful with who your group is. Overall, it's an easy class, but I would recommend taking it online.

Go to class . Lectures are not the most interesting but you don't mind because of how chill she is. One 12-16 page essay with a group and a presentation with your group. All the test are online which are easy.

As long you you don't skip class you will be fine, exams are on blackboard so they are pretty easy. She even helped me to do extra credit for another class. Awesome teacher

Class was very easy & straightforward. Quizzes every other week, two tests, one long paper, & couple response to videos. Gives you her number for, & since it's online, it's really easy to get kicked out of a test/quiz for technical difficulties. She'll reset it, but if she FEELS you aren't studying, she won't. So keep that in mind!!

It is a typical online class. Her lectures are really long, but she seems very kind and passionate about what she is teaching. Quizzes every other week, one 5-8 page paper, and a few written reflections throughout the course. Not too bad. I definitely think it is worth taking online (that way you can use the book and power points on the tests).

Took this course on-line and it was a delight. She is sweet and helpful. Will do anything to help you pass the course. There are quizzes for every chapter but they are not hard and she gives plenty of time for you to take them. The book is essential. Everything comes from the text.

Class was super boring with the exception of some short activities. She could lecture for an hour or two on boring powerpoint slides that she uploads online. Textbook really isn't needed at all, the powerpoints ARE the test pretty much. The first two tests are online so I just googled everything. Final was just taken from the study guide. Nice lady

She is a good teacher. Very easy. Just pay attention in class. She has a lot of activities, but they aren't worth points so you don't have to put too much effort. She is very passionate. I would HIGHLY recommended for an upper GE

Highly interesting class and would recommend for an upper division course. One major project, which is fairly easy, choose group & topic wisely. First 2 tests are online and easy and final test is done in class. Study guides and exam reviews are thorough to what's on the tests. Attendance is mandatory and if you miss class just read the chapter.

I was .168 points away from receiving a letter grade "A" and ended up receiving a "B" which I rightfully deserved. I aced every test because it was online then for the final it was in-class which was completely different. So if you really want that "A" study your ass off for the final because she won't give you .168 points to bump you up.

Great teacher! Tests are easy and she gives you a study guide on each of them. Attendance is mandatory but if you bring a computer time passes fast. No need to buy the book because she has all of her powerpoints online. Easy A. :)

Professor Leal is a great teacher! There are 3 tests, 3 reaction papers (about 2 pages but really easy), and a group paper/presentation. Doesn't really lecture a lot, just a lot of activities that are really fun and interesting. Time passes by quickly and we never stayed the entire class period.

Dr. Leal is an awesome teacher. You do so many "activities" that she doesn't always get around to the lecture. Use her study guides and outlines and you will be fine. Grades well. Reaction papers are easy. Really gets you thinking. Always wants to help.
