I absolutely love the subject so of course I'm going to rave about it! She is very knowledgeable & provides study guides for each test. Read the chapters as you fill out the Chapter Questions & you're golden for the tests! Video Report due near the end. (recommended to take Art Appreciation succeeding this course, you'll earn an A!)

Very smart teacher; she knows her material. However, the class is just lectures so its kinda boring because you dont know what is important or not. The test are ridiculous (all written responses) and so is her grading. If you want an easy A dont take this class because you will have to work for your A and maintain an A average on all test.

Prof Shepard is great! i had her and Larry davis together and they are a great combination! dont have homework every night but do have some questions sometimes. tests arent too bad just study and its an easy A or B. She is very laid back will help you however she can. i highly recommend her

HER CLASS IS EXTREMELY BORING, BUT IT IS NOT HARD TO DO WELL. SHE HAS CHAPTER QUESTIONS THAT SHE COLLECTS FOR HOMEWORK BASICALLY EVERY WEEK AND STUDYGUIDES THAT ARE EXACTLY LIKE THE TEST. I WOULD TRY TO GET A TEACHER THAT DOESNT STARE AT THE WALL THE WHOLE TIME BUT IF ITS THE ONLY CLASS THAT FITS IN YOUR SCHEDULE, ITS NOT TOO BAD.

I took her for my 1st semester of college, & I liked her class so much I took a different humanities class w/ her the next semester too; gives you plenty of time to do chapter questions; gives u study guides & even prepares u 4 the essay question! the only thing i didn't like was driving downtown for the museum report, but loved this class overall

Awesome Teacher. She's so passionate about what she teaches, so if you listen to what she lectures about and pay attention to what she wants to show you, your good. Would recommend to anyone who needs humanities. Was offended by the rude people in class though who always complained about it being boring. If ya dont wanna learn, dont go to school.

Professor Shepard is a fair teacher. You will have to work for the grade. The 3 tests are hard, I had to study a lot. You will have to visit a museum downtown, Self project. You will have homework,chap.questions. There is a boring book to read in addition. She is interesting/lectures. I made a good grade. I learned a lot!

I loved history in high school, and I loved HUM2250 with Prof Shepard. Be prepared to take lecture notes and hand in the chapter questions (easy) on time. She is really sweet and passionate about humanities, which is why I'm taking her for another course! Lucky me 8 )

Easy Professor as long as you paid attention. Very boring class. Our class got stuck in the auditoruim with two professors which was very confusing and we had a lot of immature people and I felt like the professors could not handle the class.

This class was extremely easy. I really don't know how you could possibly fail. She was rather boring and very monotone--sometimes hard to stay awake, but I would take her again just because she's so easy.
