Personally, I enjoy school and learning new, challenging thing and I found he was just straight up boring and lazy to have 3 assignments and get the same grade on all...

i've been out of ocad for a while but i still have fond memories of doug and all his wacky classes. by far, 1/2 of the best professors at OCAD, specifically in the INTM department. he made my years bareable and provided an intelligence that others lacked. love him!

Learned more from 30 minutes of him talking than the whole week of classes combined. Great artist. I generally prefer structure but I put that aside to enjoy this class. Speaks with insight and clarity and fosters curiosity and creativity. Absolutely shocked me because I figured he was just a fluff prof but he's been there done that!

Doug is hilarous, and he is eager to help his students. However, his teaching style is not structured; he does not give a week by week schedule and you don't find out any marks until the end of the course. He also cut out the final test at the last minute. Still, I would recommend Doug because he is genuinely interested in helping students learn .
