Comment:

Mr. Doug is a great teacher. He doesn't require a book, so you have to show up. Don't skip 30 classes and then complain that you're failing. He literally gives half the test the class day before. Show up, participate, and act like an adult and you're guaranteed a high B. The people who get bad grades are the ones who don't show up. Simple as that.

He is alright. There are many classes that are pointless, but you still have to go in case he gives out notes. There is no textbook, and he gives you half of the test on a study guide. Tests are all short answer. I think the classes are a waste of time, but they are pretty easy.

So Professor Doug is a great guy, he just doesn't know how to use Blackboard. I took him online and I honestly haven't learned a thing. We don't have a textbook, he just expects you to know the material. You can go to study sessions he offers and he will give you the answers but honestly it's not worth the stress. Take a different class.

He doesn't use blackboard at all and there is no text book. That may work for some students but I don't do well in that kind of learning environment. If you miss class there is no way to get the notes you missed unless you have a friend in there. No multiple choice tests. Good luck.

He is a good professor who doesnt want you to fail, many tests he will give most of the answers for on the study day class before. Dont miss too many classes or make sure you have a good friend who will take notes for you, 3 tests and one Business Operating Plan

He always says 'hi' to me when he sees me outside of class. He takes the time to remember almost each and every student. He is a super nice guy and his classes are not that hard at all. For sure, take him!!

I took his class last semester and every time I see him, he still remembers me and asks me how I am doing. He really loves his job and makes his classes enjoyable. The class is super easy and an easy grade. Being in class and cracking a few jokes will definitely get you on his good side.

Doug's class is easy if you take pictures of the slides. He puts 3 asterisks *** by the things that could be on the test. The test are all short answer but if you read the slidesnotes and practice the math you'll do fine. The BOP is tough but nobody in my class got below a 70% as long as you did it. The group project is easy. I'd take Doug again!!

All lecture, no text book. He has a "book" for $6 you can get extra credit for doing a report on (easy). All lecture with notes on overhead projector. Write down everything. Anything he says is fair game. Easy presentation that you get to interview a business in the community for. BOP is kind of tough. I'd take Dr. Doug again in a heartbeat.

SOO easy. give notes in class. If you actually type them, the test comes straight from them. The test is short answer- BUT he gives you half of the answers in the review and the others are literally straight from notes. I didnt have to take final because I had an A in the class. Presentation was EASY! will be taking him for another class,

Took 3 different classes with him all getting A's. He is a funny guy who loves sports (me too). I like his tests because they are short answer but he gives you half the test which is awesome. Besides tests, there is a paper, and presentation which are not bad at all. The BOP in OM is the only thing that stunk. Would highly recommend taking!!!

Hardest class of my life. Sends all notes, assignments, and final through email at the beginning of semester with a due date for everything in October(so you have time to drop if you do badly). Notes only helped with final. Assignments are all scenario questions, most requiring some math and critical thinking. Good luck if you take him.

Not a good prof. He always takes his time talking about news headlines and sports at the beginning of class. Rushes through material, talks fast, and likes to make you look stupid in front of everyone. Also, he puts notes on the board but do not expect to get much out of them. they are questions that he speeds through not allowing you to comprehend

I took isanhart for OM. His tests are open response and arent TOO hard. you have to study but nothin too strenuous. Highly recommended. Have to do a business plan that he grades in depth! lots of extra credit.

Worthless. Had him for an online class and he was my advisor. I had an A walking into the final, walked out with a low B. I contested the grade and switched advisors. He is a big teddy bear, but worthless as a professor. I went to see why I made a "B" on a project--he'd thrown them away. Final is ridiculous. Avoid his class at all costs.

GREAT guy. Very dry humor. Tests were extremely hard, all short answer. Tons of notes, and will give "half" of the test questions to you. Seems like he has gone down hill after spring break. Have to write a paper over Afghanistan... not sure why. He grades super hard for something that I question why we're doing it....

I took this online and wouldn't recommend it. He takes a week to reply to e-mails... if at all (which doesn't make sense for an ONLINE class!) I think he'd be much better in the classroom. Test are all fill in the blank but he's pretty good about telling you what to study.

love love love him! He is the best teacher ever. He cares about his students if you attend class. He grades very fairly. If you ask for help he will give you way more than you needed.
