He basically likes what he is teaching and i suppose he did this stuff before and that is why. if he is not completely clear about something, just ask and he will demo it out and show you the answer. He does respond to his email frequently well compared to most professors. i certainly wouldn't mind taking this professor for another class.

Dr. Kline is an awesome professor! The way he taught made it easy to learn SQL. Lectures are rather boring but sit through them and listen...It will help you understand the concepts. Also read the handouts that are posted in Entropy and use them to help you get through projects. Things are graded excruciatingly slow. That's my only complaint!

Kline was an awesome teacher!! I took this class as an elective because I needed more hours and I ended up with an A. Open book quizzes each week and only a midterm and final that are easy! Projects every week in the lab that are also very easy! Definitely take Kline! I loved him!!

Kline is an awesome dude. He would "Geek Out" in the middle of class which really amused us. He says attendance isn't mandatory but definitely go to all the lectures since there are in class clicker quizzes. This class is easy and he is so helpful with projects. I am so taking him for MIS 315

Awesome let me repeate awesome teacher. I am taking two more classes with him after taking this course with him. If your lazy you suck in the first place. Go to class boring lectures at times he makes it fun. Do the assignments he gives pregrades and gives you half of the test answers if not all of them. TAKE KLINE FOR EVERY CLASS YOU HAVE

A really nice guy and a great class! You learn a lot and he is always there to help! Tests are a little hard but the projects help bring up your grade! If you show up to class he will like you and it will be easier to stay on top of the work!

Very nice guy. Easy class. Have a clicker and have a mini "quiz" in every class. There are only two tests and they are only 42% of your grade so lots of fillers. Extremely helpful and willing to work with you. Explains material extremely well and if you pay attention during the class and do all of your work you will do very well.

Take him!! He's very nice and doesn't make the labs hard. Tests are taken on Entropy, all muliple choice. I would say class is madatory just because he takes attendance when you use the clicker for your short in-class quizzes. Overall, not a hard teacher and he can be funny.
