Excellent professor! Very hands-on with his teaching style. He will work with you, because he wants you to do well. Statistics isnt easy for everyone, so he makes it as enjoyable as he can. Fabulous, fabulous person. Would take this professor again!

He approaches the class as if everyone already has a background in advanced psych stats. There are no power points, no clear definitions, no organization. We are given specific examples only in class and nothing that translated to broader understanding. He gives partial credit but will not give As. Don't take him if you can avoid it.

He is a great professor. He is smart and funny. I suggest going to class even though you dont need to. It makes understanding easier and you get more info. The tests are 40 multiple choice question and so easy. There are four tests and the lowest grade gets dropped the final is just the fourth test. There are so many chances for extra credit!

Cool guy, really tries to relate to his students, and he's pretty funny. Material is pretty dry, mostly powerpoints and textbook readings. 3 tests, 2 projects, nothing crazy or difficult. (also, you can get the older version of the textbook and save the money)

Took Psych stats with him and hes really great. He takes a class that could be really boring but he makes it fun. Hes also very good at explaining things and is always helpful during office hours. I highly recommend him.

Great professor. He always gives examples for whatever topic your going over. He cracked a lot of jokes even in a lecture class. Tests aren't that hard as long as you go over your notes, and you get to drop your lowest score.

Personally math isn't a subject I struggle with but Maynard is an amazing professor! If you need extra help he is always available & he honestly tries to put his all into helping. He makes silly jokes but if you are in a grad program its very refreshing. Although ANOVA can be tedious, he makes it interesting. Only negative is he tends to talk fast

The class content is about as boring and dry as it gets but Maynard does his best to lighten the mood by cracking jokes and showing clips from movies and shows here and there. Do the projects and put in some time to study before each of the three exams and youll ace this course.

Dr. Maynard is a great teacher, he works so hard to help everyone understand and is very clear. For a tough/not so interesting subject, Maynard made this class into one of my favorites. If you show up and take good notes, you will do well. lab HW makes up 40% of grade which really helps, also 3 tests and a pretty easy research project. Take him!

I love professor Maynard. Sometimes I want to clap after his lectures, but I never know if that's appropriate or not. I can't decide whether I want to marry him or have him adopt me. Too bad he already has a wife and a child. :(

I had professor Maynard for stats class. Although this is not really my favorite part about psychology, I found my class to be interesting and helpful. The pace is relatively slow I think, but we cover the topics thoroughly and use a lot of in-class examples to demonstrate them.
