Don't know what's with the low ratings, but from my experience he is pretty nice, helpful and understanding. I have him for interactivity and he knows the pain of making code work and takes that into account when marking. I like him.

i think i like the profs no one else likes. he's pretty monotone and a lot of people find that really boring but i think he has a dry, sarcastic humor about him that makes me like listening to his lectures. i would say he's an acquired taste!
