book used in not clear just like young. u r better off getting another book and professor. i don't recommend taking young or peters, who's more confusing than young; he should retire. doug young has personal issues that he takes to class; no office hours, so he's unreliable. take if you want to fail.

YOUNG IS SOB TO EXPLAIN SHORT. FIRST DAY OF CLASS HE GAVE ASSIGNMENTS AND DIDN'T EXPLAIN THE SUBJECT AT ALL. RARELY GAVE NOTES. COMES TO CLASS LATE DAILY EXCEPT DAYS OF TESTS. DON'T TAKE HIM IF U WANT TO LEARN AND/OR PASS. HE COMES TO CLASS STRESSED AND W/ AN ATTITUDE AS WELL. DON'T TAKE HIM OR PETERS! TAKE CLASS SOMEWHERE ELSE!

One of the most bizarre teaching styles I have ever been witness to. First he gives problems on material he doesn't cover with the expectation that you will miss the problem. Rarely if ever uses the book. I really don't know what to make of this class, pretty absurd.

He is a good teacher and a smart man, but I have one complaint and solution for always having to waste time making people be quiet in class. Don't make lecture mandatory. Performance over punctuality.

Dr. Young is not an easy teacher before coming to his class i heard from someone that had had him before me that his tests were right from his practice tests. Also when we are in class he does like one problem and that's it he doesnt teach. I hate this class.

Easy class. Test are exactly what is covered in class. Great for students who need a science for Gen.Ed. Presents the material clearly. Great person- very concerned about those who seem to have a genuine interest to learn. Apply urself and can make A.

Take this man if you are either a complete slackass or have no desire to further your knowledge. His class is taught, at best, at a high school level. To think that you learn physics in this class is proof of delusion beyond hope or repair.
