The big BAX! His IED class was a treat-wagon - i feel sorry for every other section. Just be prepared for his occasional unbuttoned shirt and 3 inches of exposed stomach right above his belt.

Warning: you may take this course and believe that Baxter does not really exist. I don't like the fact that he does not even introduce himself to his classes, much less teach them. You're taught by TAs who don't always know what they're talking about.

Get Baxter if you want to learn all about his childhood and his family - he loves to talk and go on tangents all the time. Although, he is willing to give his time to help you on things. He will also say one thing and then do another. He's a fun teacher to have, but very unpredictable, which can be frustrating at times.

he seemed to be egotistical and insulted me a few times and slugish to respond to my repeated inquiries to get my grade resolved, it remained an 'I' for quite a while after the semester ended for complications not of my own doing. Needless to say he did f

The class is pretty easy, but I watched a total of about 3 lectures. Once you get the hang of it you can figure out most of the stuff just by doing the homework. My TAs were awesome, especially since there's undergrad TAs that speak English.

most god awful professor I have yet to meet, disorganised and self righteous, why does he teach CAD if he apparently hates it so much?

is one of the better professors for IED. he's pretty clear about what you need to do, and isn't real hard on grading. if you do what you're supposed to do, you'll get an A. make sure no matter what you do, you don't get foley for your professor for IED.

Baxter doesn't really exist. He's a CGI character created by RPI. He only exists as the talking fat man in the corner of your computer screen.

Very unorganized, and does not actually grade sometimes. Sometimes grades very hard, other times just skims for quantity. Can do no work and still get good grades if he likes you.

If you meet Prof. Baxter up front, he is awesome. He loves to help those who seek it. He may sound boring on the lectures, but getting help from him for the project is great. He is quite an interesting professor and applauds you for all your work.

Baxter the man, and a great guy to have for IED. But the way CAD class is set up is horrid. The TA's dont know enough about CAD, the documentation for the final project is often incorrect, and they neglect to tell you many of the required parts of the course. The class needs a major overhaul!!!

Maybe if he did not have so many classes that LA taught I could answer this. I don't even know what he looks like to tell you if he is good or not. He shoud stop in all classes.

Awesome resource. The man is soo excited about teaching the class its crazy. he loves to be in the lab, tells you straight up how he feels about certain things, and expects a lot. Grades fairly, albeit not easily.
