Keeps things interesting and clarifies tough topics well. Cares about student success - provides plenty of online resources, encourages and thoroughly answers questions, receptive to feedback, etc. Good-natured and pretty funny. Prepares you for exams with in-class review plus online self-assessments and documents summarizing concepts and problems.

Comment:

Found him to be pretty overrated. Lectures were often disjointed and strayed off topic. His explanations of the mathematical aspects of the class were often difficult to follow. He was also often late to class. He is very personable and funny which explains why he is generally well-liked, but he is a very mediocre professor in my opinion.

I did not like professor Ainina as a teacher at all. He was not helpful, he was rude and his tests were not at all what we discussed in class. I would avoid him at all costs. However you don't have many choices in grad school.

This professor is an asset to WSU, he is extremely knowledgeable and goes out to help students. Definitely study practice tests, he pulls answers directly from them onto the test. He tries to make sure everyone understands everything. Would definitely take him again if I had the chance.

Very knowledgeable about material covered in class. Let class get out of control with students having side conversations during lectures that hindered the learning experience for students who wanted to learn. Review session times for exams were not compatible with some student's schedules.

This class is a must for finance students. Fall is an awesome person and professor. He will help you to find a job and even though he is a chair, his door is never closed. Don't leave the college of business without taking him for a course.

Excellent professor and extremely knowledgable about his subject matter. Very helpful. He even gave us his home phone number so that we can call him if we have any question. You will not feel how that 3- 1/2 hour is gone. Wish he teaches MBA 730 too.
