I took Dr. Rochowicz for statistics and he was horrible. His writing is chicken scratch, and he doesn't even look at the students while lecturing. He gives out homework to do but does not even check to see if youre doing it right. He expects everyone to know what he is talking about. And if you have a question, he makes it even more confusing.

Calc 1 with Dr. Rochowicz was a blast. He pretty much went over the same problems for 1-2 weeks at a time and the first 3 exams were straightforward and repetitive until the 4 exam, where there were word problems. :( Just ignore his lisp, participate and pay attention and you should pass. His favorite quote, "How's your algebra!?"

He was not helpful at all. He would never teach from the book and then he would get the problem wrong on the board which made it very confusing. If he would have been more organized and helpful, I probably would have not had trouble with the content of the class.

I swear this guy is a genius. I understand where all the negative comments are coming from, but if you take notes, pay attention, take advantage of the learning center, and ask questions, you will do fine. Also, doing the homework he assigns helps. If you have trouble with math I recommend taking a different professor just because he does go fast.

He's a really nice man but unfortunately his slides make little to no sense when compared to the book. He has a questionable way of grading test, one answer slightly changed may or may not be correct, and the questions on his test sometimes have to be "inferred" from the notes. Would not recommend, especially if you havent taken physics in a while.

I had him for PHY 110 and I couldn't understand anything he was talking about. Not only was it confusing, but he picked on students and even said that Women shouldn't go into science or math majors. I was happy when the class was over

horrible. i like math but after this professor it makes me hate it. Handwriting is awful and doesn't help any of his students. I had him for stat so if you have to take that class, please do yourself a favor and dont choose this prof. it is very hard to understand him and if you ask questions he gets mad....

Dr. Rochowicz is a very knowledgeable math teacher. People should give him credit rather than be hurtful in their comments. I never liked math but I had an A by the end of his class. I worked hard, studied,TOOK NOTES IN CLASS, and listened to him as he explained the math problems. There is no reason for all of these hurtful comments against him.

If I hadn't taken precalc in high school i would have been really lost in this class. All he does is throw problems up on the board. He doesn't explain why you do things, the basics/rules/principles, definitions, or use proper names for topics. I really liked math before this class, but i HATED this class-I'm taking calculus with another school.

U can't understand wat he writes. He is not organized or well prepared 4 class. He easily confuses himself & gets lost in his own equations. He frequently writes the wrong things on de board (a lot of erasing when taking notes). He is not helpful in answering questions. Avoid this teacher at all costs. Horrible F- teacher. Alvernia should fire him.

His lisp makes him hard to understand, his writing is impossible to read & He's useless if you have questions.Basically I teach myself what I need to know for a test, which aren't too bad.Sitting in that class frustrates me, he always says stuff like well you wouldn't be able to understand that.He'll also tell us to read questions and keep talking.
