Dr. Ernst's German 1 and 2 classes are super easy. He's a great teacher, and you can skip a lot of classes and still get a high grade. He grades very easy, there are tests and a lot of quizzes, but you don't have to know all the information to pass the class. If you suck at language take this class.

What an interesting human being. He is the best German teacher I've ever had. Dr. Ernst makes learning German easy and he also understands how hard it is to learn a second language. I enjoy the tidbits he tells us about growing up in Germany and the random things he says during class. He's definitely a character, but an awesome professor

NICEST PROFESSOR EVER! To be honest with you I could only say few German phrases when I went into intermediate German. But Ernst made it fun and EASY. He will say everything you need to know for the test. And a couple of times we could use our laptops on tests.. one time it was a partner test! Absolute nicest guy and great class.
