Tests are open book, but extremely hard so make sure you read the chapters before hand. He lectures about 1/8th of the material on the test so he is really not teaching you much that is going to be on the tests. If you miss class you'll miss the chapter quizzes at the end worth a lot of points. His accent is difficult to understand but he is funny!

For the class it is open book tests, this however does not mean they are easy, you still need to study. He can be a bit unclear sometimes and seem a bit confused about what he is lecturing on. He overall is helpful but he expects you to put the required amount of work in.

Dr. B has a great accent but it takes a bit to get used to and is a little bit of a barrier. He is extremely knowledgeable and helpful but you have to meet him halfway and show up to class and try your best. Read the material and attend class and you will get an A.

For lectures he turns outdated and bias facts into irrelevant misconceptions. Tests are easy if you're good in science, but he doesn't teach what is on the tests. I only went because the last 5 minutes the assistant teacher actually teaches. Best described as 60 year old Russian hippie. Very disappointing class.
