The teacher is a good guy. He wants people to do well. However, his idea of well is a B+. Rarely gives As, because you apparently need to WOW him. He didnt seem to know the material he was teaching at all and gave extremely vague feedback. Nice guy, bad prof.

I loved this class, i htought the conversation was good and yes he did go off topic sometimes but all in all it was fun to be there and i learned what i neeeded to, he is a hard marker but i god an A+ and if i can do it anyone can you just need to pay attention and contribute in class

Really really nice guy, plenty of real world experience through his career, and pretty smart... However, doesn't contribute much in terms of teaching the students and providing a better understanding of the material.. You're on your own there; he was more like a class supervisor and occasional orator.. I don't know whether to recommend or not..

If you get stuck with this teacher, I suggest that you attend the lectures and participate in class because he has a visual memory of who you are and will grade you accordingly. He is an EXTREMELY hard marker, and believes that a C+ is really good. Nobody got an A+ or A in my section. This is a very introductory course, so the material is easy

He's kind of lazy but discussions are generally good. Uses way too many sailing analogies but otherwise not that annoying. There really isn't much to this class. If you can write a compelling essay and say something intelligent every class then you'll do great. He gives a clear outline of how he wants cases prepared. Just do it and cruise.
