I would suggest avoiding this man at all costs. I found him very unhelpful and he found a way to make a simple subject difficult. By then end of the semester I found the key to success was sleeping through class and studying the topics on my own.

His comments regarding race are inappropriate. He has told people they weren't smart enough. In addition, to running his class in such a manner that the students a afraid. Afraid to not know an answer, afraid to voice an opinion. I would recommend avoiding Sloan.

Sloan pretends he likes to get to know the students, but he is very ingenuine. Mostly, he just wants to find out if you are in McBride. He favors guys and McBriders, so if you are either of those and like things being handed to you, he's your man.
