that many, if not most of my instructors at the quote university level didn?t hold a candle compared to Newton. I?m sad learn that 10 years later, his days behind the lectern have come to an end; however, it?s apparent that his legacy will always live on.

What a walk down memory lane - SO many of these comments still resonate clearly with me to this very day. I actually received instruction from Professor Newton as a senior in high school. I then went on to graduate from UCSD in 2003 and boy was I in for a rude awakening upon the realization that many, if not most of my instructors at the quote univ

Newton is an amazing teacher full of stories that actually pertain to the classes information. His class was intersting every day. He sadly retired at the end of my year, I wish more students could learn from him. I will always remember the last day of class he gave everyone of us a hug and said good luck with your future please keep in touch.

Mr. Newton was an amazing teacher. It is a shame that LJHS students will no longer have the opportunity of taking his class. He meant so much to us and we cared enough to give him a surf board the last day of attendance. Anyone who is going to take Political Science, I HIGHLY recommend Mr. Newton. He is second to NONE.

He is by far the best teacher I have ever had. I was not exceedingly interested in this subject before however he captured my attention with his captivating stories. His stories were not only entertaining, they enabled me to comprehend the material better. You don't need to purchase the book, he is a better information sorce. I LOVE NEWTON!

Newton is probably the best teacher I have ever had. He makes politics incredibly interesting with his funny stories and interesting point of view. He is SO inspiring and extremely smart. Teachers need to take his class just so they can learn to teach as well as he can. He teaches every lecture with great clarity. Take notes and you will do fine!

By far still one of the best professors I've had to date. Lectures are amazing, this guy has seen a lot of things throughout his diverse life. Weaves his stories into his lectures well. Tests are medium, study your definitions and think of sample essays beforehand and you'll be happy with yourself. Highly recommend taking this guy!

great professor, one of my current favorites, his lectures are clear and very easy to understand. he answers all those questions that you always had about our political system but never had anyone to ask. also tells great stories, definately a class you will not fall asleep in.
