I think he is depressed. Moody is a total understatement.Some days this guy seems like he might go in the back room and end it all. His graphics class teaches outdated methods poorly. The sketching is very good, though. Design and Hist classes suck. Badly. Terrible unorganized lectures that follow no outline, and have no progression throughout sem.

Honestly, he's a great teacher for GRAPHICS! He won't answer most of your questions, he wants you to figure it out and be creative. If it's not in the project description, it's fair game!! If you're polite and do the work, he'll like you. The class moves slow, but he gives invaluable insight.

Janke can be horribly long winded at times, but he's the best Graphics teacher I've ever had. Of all the courses that Janke teaches, this is hands-down his best. He's enthusiastic and gives valuable feedback on your work. And he's good at telling you what's wrong with your drawing without making you feel like s***.

Boy, I didn't like him so much! He lost my BEST project and didn't even say he was sorry! Useless to ask him for help - he will NOT help. All he talk about is himself, in all period of his "brilliant" career. And also, he is very unclear, very moody and makes nice class feel horrible! Bad news: you almost can't avoid him :(

Prof K. is an interesting person. One thing you would notice is that he talk about the same thing all the times. For instance, UVa, Thomas Jefferson, and Bauhaus...ect. Well,you would love him if you keep up your reading. Otherwise... The test is kinda difficult because you have to write a lot!
