he intimidated me, but he was a great professor who knew his subject like the back of his hand. you need to read the textbook, or you won't pass. he allows a front and back cheat sheet for every test and assigns small writings w every chapter that take no longer than like 30 minutes. It isn't an easy A, but he is a good guy.

He's a nice person and his lectures can be a little boring, but overall the class wasn't too bad. Definitely take notes in class and from the textbook. Also the study guides he posts before tests are very helpful, but know specific information about everything he puts on the guides and know things that aren't on the guides. Very few grades

Great class by a prof who really know developmental psychology. Take god notes on the text and from class and you will do fine. Turn your phone off

I took Lonky for developmental psych and he only gave us three exams the whole semester that determine your whole grade. The exams were very hard and you think you will do well but end up just passing or not at all. His lectures were hard to understand and does not give you feedback after exams or papers.

You can bring one page of notes to each test, but the tests are still difficult. Must read textbook because there are things he doesn't cover in class that will be on the test. Not many things to grade, the paper at the end is the biggest thing. Have to come to class to get homework assignments. Great professor, as long as you try you'll do well.

Very boring, longest hour and 20 minutes of my life. If given the option, take a different professor for this course. Most of the learning is done outside of class on your own time with the textbook. There is a final non cumulative (unit exam). Also a big paper based on interview with psych professional.

I took an online class and it was the most tedious thing I did all four years. He makes you sign in more than three times a week Which is excessive for an online class. He also makes you post more than three discussions and multiple assignments in order to atleast get a decent grade on the homework. DO NOT TAKE ANY CLASS WITH HIM !

More work than other online classes I have taken at SUNY Oswego but the assignments help you understand the material. The tests are based mostly off the reading and there are so many spelling mistakes its annoying. Is helpful if you email him but can respond with snarky or rude comments if you do not understand something he considered 'easy.'

This class was interesting. ALOT of reading. Will expand your mind as its all integrative. As for him, lectures are long and he is dry, he's extremely knowledgable and passionate about this. He's not much help over email and can come off as rude but he's really just sarcastic, he does have a sense of humor that not many people saw. Enjoyed class.

Lonky is a great professor! The class is extremely boring and philosophical but Lonky is so good at what he teaches, if you take notes, listen and participate it will help. Tough class, requires a lot of work. But in general Lonky is great, and always there for his students. Such a great guy :)

Lonky is a really good professor- he's just very strict on his ideas of education. He refuses to hand out easy grades, and it's really hard to get an A because of it. He follows the thought that an A is above and beyond what he expects, a B meets his expectations and so on. A B in this class is really good! You have to want to work hard, though.

This is hands down the WORST class I have ever taken. It's all philosophy so good thing I'm a psychology major... oh wait. He goes on tangents in class and never makes sense. He allows a cheat sheet for all the quizzes yet 80 percent of the class always fails them. yes. we. all. fail. This class will make you cry.

Absolutely the best class I've taken in psychology. Professor is brilliant and hysterical, although sometimes I'm the only one laughing
