Cons- There are no powerpoints, he just talks the entire time & hands out notes. Pros- EASY A! you dont have to do anything in that class but 2 papers & one take home final. He is such an easy grader, no effort is needed, however he gets really boring. Show up to class here and there to show you care about the class at least and youll have an A:)!

I think he is an awesome person and very passionate. His lectures get very boring and theres no power points or visual stimulation. He just kind of rambles. He introduced me to ideas that I had never thought about before,he is an easy grader, and does not care whether or not you come to class. You don't need to do the reading.

Dr. Minar is extremely smart and always wanting to help his students. All of our exams were take-home and he let us submit rough drafts.

Easy class. Easy A. I skipped alot, and when I was there I was on Facebook. He hands out a lot of reading assignments, but you don't really have to do them. He hands out essay topics 4 weeks in advance, and if you email him your paper before the due date he will help you fix all of it. Plus the final is take home! I made it out with an easy A :)

I had Prof. Minar for philosophy years ago. I'm pretty sure my rating is in here somewhere. I've also taken my dogs to his obedience classes. He's a great teacher, he's passionate about what he does, and I've got some very well behaved dogs now.

(Honors section) Ed is a very helpful and kind man. He is so willing and eager to help students that he'll stop mid-sentence to answer a question. Lectures are interesting if you stay with him and essays aren't particularly difficult if you've attended class. He is passionate about his work.

So easy. Very good about giving out assignments far in advance and getting them back to you as soon as possible. He is lax about attendance (I skipped half the time, did the crossword the other half of the time, and still got an easy A). If you're interested in Animal Minds, though, I don't know if this is actually the class for you.

Slept everyday of class, but still made an A. If you can survive sitting through his class you should get an A.

BORING!!! he likes to listen to himself speak and he did so for the entire class period. attendance was supposedly 1/6th of the grade, but formal attendance was not taken and i went to maybe 40% of the lectures and still got an A. grades were strictly based on four papers throughout the term.

Brilliant professor that helps you look at everything differently. Extremely helpful with papers-he replies very quickly and with very useful comments. Think hard about the paper topics, explain it clearly in your papers, and you've got a good grade.

He seems to have a lot of pent up energy. I was always afraid he was going to run into the wall when he was lecturing. He lectures the entire class period. There's a lot of writing involved in this class, but it's not too difficult to get an A.

Very boring class. He talks non-stop for an hour and a half. He gives you paper topics early enough that you can skip all of the classes that don't relate to it. Just try to disprove everything, and you'll do fine
