Mr. Noriega is a pretty good teacher with experience. He cares about his students. We have a lot of work, but you'll learn more in only one semester with him than in 2 semesters with another professor. His class is crucial if you want to learn more about design. Btw, we don't have quizzes, just assignments and a portfolio at the end of the semester

Ed is a tough grader and sometimes vague, but he wants you to figure things out and learn. I learned A LOT in his class. He's hard, but it is worth it. You will come out with a much better understanding of that subject.

don't think he is a good educator or communicator, make assignment not clear and anytime he wants to add the assignment, like sunday night, but did not mention on class before. think everybody should care most about his project, and assume we don't have other stuff to do, based on his emotion, terrible.

Design Studio was a challenging class that reinforced the atmosphere of a job. This course not only strengthened and enhanced my skills, but it also properly prepare me to work. Noriega is one of the hardest professors that I have taken, but that's not to say I didn't learn from him. He knows what he's taking about.

His class just like really crazy. You do learn a lot in his class but it's hard to get good grades.Sometime he don't say thing clearly in his class and want you to discuss on Facebook SO YOU SHOULD PAY ATTENTION ALL THE TIME ON FACEBOOK spend many times on his class but still can not get good grades really hurts me.

Ed is pretentious in what he teaches but the truth is that it is stuff that you can learn on your own....yet he makes over 70k a year which makes hima professional con artist. If Design is the thing of the future that he so prouly proclaims then why are most of his students unemployed? His classes and program is an utter waste.

Not a good professor. Degrades his students and tells half truths to fit his own agenda. Picks favorites in his class and grades accordingly. Not very organized and in fact NOT current on whats new in the Design world. Only teaches design for print which is virtually extinct in todays design world. Makes bold promises but delivers nothing.

E-drawing Great teacher. He's honest and straightforward. He doesn't mind making you cry or blush. I think his honest approach is very helpful. Although, i think he could be better if he stayed on top of current graphic design trends. Definitely would recommend him!

Yet, he is teacher his students to be tough and perfect their work so when they get and the real world and have clients they'll only get the best from his previous student. He WAS a bad communicator to tell students what he want, but now he's getting better. He brings many jobs and all of them are hard to finish on the due. But all of these projects must improve and develop your skills. Sometime you'll feel tired of him, but that is the time you can get something new. I promise you that he makes you a graphic designer

Who is your daddy? He is a cool New Yorker but not a cool Alabama man. It is really hard to reach him. He still has to send me a reff. letter. I am still waiting. So be aware! He forgets things easily. Or the things that he wanna forget about. Overall he is friendly and a really good instructor. You definitely learn from him.

Foundations of Form & Space is a very hard course. I talked to Ed before I switched majors. He told me that the class would be hard. Very true!! The class is very fun but also frustrating. Ed works with his students & cares a lot for them. Take his class!
