He was prepared for class about 3 days last semester. He will just get there, and tell you to do your homework, leave and come back at the end of class & tell you that you can leave. His tests are all problems in the book, though. But problems are so much harder than the other classes, are graded harder, and in the end you learn less.

He likes to give assignments just to see if you'll drop the class. He puts questions on tests that you've never seen anything remotely close to in order to make you drop the class. His grading is immensely inaccurate and unfair in comparison to what he assigns you. He is purposefully insulting at times in order to make you drop the class.

He is an extremely hard grader. One of the plus points about his class is that you don't have to do the homework but you have to pretty much teach yourself and his test are like holy crap!! he will put stuff on there you have never seen or gone over to "see if you would quit or not"!!!

My least favorite teacher so far at UMR. Extremely hard tests and not a nice guy. He curves it a lot but ruined my 4.0. you must teach it to yourself and hes always cranky it seemed

He's like a grandpa. When I ask questions, I half expect him to take me on his knee and give me a Werther's Original when he's finished explaining. He's is always willing to answer questions and work examples, and he is extremely patient with us; he never minds explaining something two or three times as long as it will help us learn.
