Since he's moved to Academic Programs, he's become extremely obnoxious, nasty, and abusive. Thinks he knows what he's doing but doesn't. If at all possible, you want to avoid him. He's another completely worthless administrator, ready to muck things up w/o cause. He's past due for retirement. His presence wastes taxpayer dollars.

Wish I actually learned something while I was awake during his mumbo-jumbo lectures...since I didn't show up most of the time couldn't really get some test questions right because you sort of had to be there to know them... & how was I supposed to remember utterly specific current events from 2 weeks prior to the exam?...just useless...sigh...

This class was extremely easy. I went to every class and took a copy of the lecture notes with me (which, I got off the class website). The notes really helped me prepare for exams!!! The online practice tests are also a must, because he uses those EXACT questions on the exams! I loved this class! I got an A! :D

Papers kick you in the butt. Graders are not fair. Attendance isn't mandatory. Neither is owning the book. What did late night dance off's instead of studying and not going to this class for a month do? Got me an A. Study the online tests and know your current events and you, too, may pull an A.

The problem lies with this class is in the graded papers. Trotter does not actually grade the papers; he has a team of TAs do it for him. The TAs never leave any comments to let you know why you got that grade. Then, when you go to Trotter's office hours to see why you got that grade, he can't tell you because he isn't the one who gave it to you.

Trotter rambles like you wouldn't believe, so I just went and watched the tapes of the class in the library. Once I could fast forward it got really easy. He makes it impossible to fail.

This class definitely dissapointed me also. It was very vague and VERY easy. Everything is on a huge curve. I would say only a forth of the class actually showed up most days, probably because the work just isn't challenging. Trotter is a really cool guy though, he just needs to provide some more challenging lectures.

Awesome instructor! I HIGHLY recommend him! I entered his class not knowing anything about math.He helped me overcome my math anxiety and I received awesome grades on the last two exams. He puts great faith in students, and video tapes the class so students can review what they may not understand. Trotter is definitely an A instructor!

Mr. Trotter is a great professor. He is teaching for the students and will be helpful to anything you need. If you put the work in you will get a A or B with no problem. I would strongly consider taking him again for another class in the comm department.

Prof. Trotter is one funny dude. He makes fun of himself a lot, which is very entertaining. He is getting to that age where he just wants to have a good time and not be serious. Take the online practice tests, they help. Stay awake in lectures. ENJOY!

He was a good professor. I went to most classes. A LITTLE bit boring at times (i took it at 8 am, maybe that's why)...he's very funny. But you have to either pay attention in class lectures, or read the book on your own in order to succeed. Takes a lot of test questions from online practice tests. A lot of questions have to do with in class lecture

I thought this class was going to be difficult going in but it actually wasn't all that bad. I got a B+. If you go to every class and study for his three exams, you will do just fine. Yes, he does give you two practice finals that are the EXACT SAME format as the actual final. Great professor - very helpful and very nice.

He's interesting. He will slow down for your pace. His tests aren't that difficult unless you haven't gone to class. He will basically give you your final. Even though the course is whack, he puts your lessons into everyday things so you understand them better. I highly recommend!!

I never felt the need to go to class, notes and study questions are on blackboard. What a waste of money, if I could have taken it on the web I would have. If you take this class make sure you read the notes and do the practice tests online. He actually reads the papers so put some effort into it. Dont buy the book, you dont need it.
