Absolutely sexist and will tear apart any opinion that isn't his own. Watched him ridicule a girl in class just for stating that she appreciated seeing a strong female lead in one of the films he required. He is constantly asking ladies about "chick flicks" and saying they can't appreciate the good "masculine" movies he shows.

Fun class if you already know how to use the software and cameras. Wachtel does not teach anything useful and is a very critical grader. I enjoyed making the movies but they were very rushed.

He's a nice man but a lousy teacher. I learned more from Hopeton than him...those of you that have taken DVD know that during the video credits people thank Hopeton more than Wachtel. I have a strong interest in digital media but theres no avoiding him.
