Comment:

Very sweet, but boring professor. Her classes were always composed of lectures or videos we had to watch. She takes attendance every day which can be time consuming but it speeds up as she gets to know your faces. When I took her class all her exams were take home exams. Very easy. Kept a green book for the Gordon Rule.

Comment:

She was a sweet lady. Very passionate about history. Very lecture heavy course. She literally sits down in fron of the class and talks the whole time. I t was very easy she assigned quizzes and the test were fairly easy to pass if you study the quizzes.

I consider as my grandma because she is SO sweet. Her lectures can be long, but she tries to make it better with history videos for us to understand better. Her exams are not hard; they're from online quizzes. Give her your full respect and treat her as a professional elderly. I loved her class, always try to attend class just so that she's happy.

This course was so easy! And the professor is such a sweet lady. I wish I had her again now that I am in AMH 2020. But that class was a breeze. Just show up, because she takes attendance almost every day. Thats it. The only grades she puts in are attendance, online quizzes (EASY!), 3 tests (pulls questions from the quizzes), and a research paper.

DO NOT RENT THE REQUIRED TEXTBOOK. All the quizzes are taking using the textbook access code. She then copy and pastes the quiz questions for the test. If you memorize the quiz questions, you'll be passing. She does take attendance only when she shows a video in class. It is difficult to determine when this will be; show up most of the time

She's such a sweet older lady. You can tell she knows a lot about her history, and knows what she's talking about. One of the easiest classes. You must have an access code to pass her class though. A lot of the assignments are online. If you review online, her tests are really easy. You shouldn't have a problem passing with an A+.

It's my fourth year here and I'd say she's the best and easiest professor at UCF! Very sweet older lady, I loved her lectures, and her class. Easy A class, no excuse for getting below an A. I'd definitely take her class again if I get the chance to.

TAKE THIS CLASS! Easiest class I have ever taken! Quizzes are interactive quizzes from the online textbook and her tests are the same exact quiz questions. Impossible to fail. One research paper with plenty of time to turn in. She is so sweet and cute!

I just took her for 2020 in the summer. As long as you have the access code, you don't even need the textbook. There are online quizzes with unlimited attempts, so you're guaranteed an A for that. Her tests are directly from the quizzes, so as long as you memorize the answer the class is an easy A.

Easiest class I've ever taken. 4 exams, one 5-page paper. Her test questions come directly from the online quizzes, I got 100%'s on two of her tests. Attendance is mandatory but her lectures have nothing to do with the exam material.

seriously THE EASIEST CLASS I HAVE EVER taken! I took it in the summer and I never opened my book , took the online quizez and studied them since her tests are EXACT same questions. We also turn in some essay questions and summary of movies we watch in class! super EASY A! TAKE HER!!!!

Sweetest old lady ever! Professor Macdonald is nice, flexible and her class is a breeze. 3 tests + final, weekly online quizzes, one paper. You should go to class for videos (you have to write about them). But everything was really easy and she is an easy grader. Would definitely recommend her!

Comment:

I loved Mrs. MacDonald. She was very nice and very understanding. However she was hard to follow as she just sat at her desk and talked no visuals. Grade consists of 3 tests, weekly online quizzes, in-class writing prompts on videos shown and a 5 page paper. The tests did not come from the online quizzes. Best of luck!!!!
