Professor Spain is fantastic! She has a sincere and fun personality, her lectures are interesting and very interactive. If you don't understand something, she takes the time to stop and explain it with patience. As long as you pay attention to her lectures and cross reference information with your textbook, it's near impossible to not get an A.

Attendance important, book not necessary. You're given packet with mostly all the notes & info you'll need for the tests. 2 easy projects/papers. Easy grader. Very, very nice and hilarious. Thoroughly answers all questions asked. Not done yet, but so far so good.

She is an inspiring professor in every way and I can't believe she is going to retire. I'm honored that I had her as a mentor and I am a better teacher because of her. She assigns a lot of work but it's only to benefit you in this profession in the long run. Nothing she makes you do is just for busy work.

Wonderful teacher! Unlike many teachers, she cares deeply about educating her students, not about what grade they receive. You will get an A (and learn A LOT) if you just listen to her. Which isn't very hard, she's pretty funny. I took 3 of her classes because I enjoyed her so much :)

TIME IS RUNNING OUT! she will retire soon so take her class ASAP. you don't want to miss her! She is always prepared, honest, approachable, and experienced. Her class is interesting and easy if you pay attention and read the text, which is (honestly) a LOT of reading. But it'll keep you awake because they are interesting.

Her child development class is very straightforward and easy. All quizzes are easy if you READ. Easy A if you read! Easy B if you don't try at all. Professor Spain is nice, reasonable, endearing. She wants you to succeed. Do what she asks, and get an A. Several short papers due throughout semester. If you're a decent writer, she's easily impressed.

She's very passionate about child development, and she has many years of experience in this area. Her class is not hard at all! 6 (30 mult. choice q's) quizzes, 2 observation papers (very easy), and the final (also very easy!!). She does drop your lowest quiz. Read the book for the quizzes, and you should be fine. Take her, you're guaranteed an A!

Prof. Spain, is very nice, her class is very easy. i recommend not missing class though since its an 8 week class, each day you go over 2 chapters. and there are quizes almost every 2 weeks, but there multiple choice. there are two papers due. observations really so easy your thoughts. she will be retiring soon so take her class!!

Spain is a great teacher. She is funny and has a great personality. Don't miss any of her lectures because each one is what her tests are based on. Make flashcards, and enjoy her class. I highly recommend her class. She is great and is passionate about helping you learn about kids. =)
