I love prof Fink. After I took this course I enrolled into two other courses with him and got a B and an A. Happy I got a chance to be taught by him. He's clear with everything and lectures are entertaining. An easy person to talk to if you have questions or concerns. I highly recommend him :)

Professor Fink is very passionate about the subject. Class was very interesting; better yet, he made it interesting. Very clear, organized lectures. Responses and final essay is pretty easy. Discussions are always fascinating; he always has great questions on hand for us to discuss. I highly recommend him!

A truly wonderful professor. He is knowledgeable, helpful, and funny. The class is very easy with 3 three tests multiple choice that make up your grade. As long as you study, you will get an A which is what I got in this course. I learn a lot from him and so far this is my favorite class. Take him. Highly recommended.

Very easy course. Three tests non-cumulative. He gives study guides for the chapters in the book which are very easy to do and the test questions come right from there, the lectures, and videos watched in class. He's really helpful and funny. Easy course, I'll take one of his classes in the future.

Definitely my favorite class. Ed Fink is extremely knowledgeable, informative, and a genuinely great guy. Reading the text for study guides is essential, but the tests are easy-peasy. RTVF is going to be my minor, so I hope to have him in other classes in the future. 100% RECOMMENDED!

Took Fink for 100, 220, and 350. In 100 Attendance is not mandatory. Tests can be easy as long as you study and complete the guides he gives. In 200 attendance is mandatory. Tests are difficult if you don't study. 350 depends on your writing skills. He can be a bit tough and nit-picky, but you will definitely learn from him. Absolutely recommend!

Great teacher with a one-on-one approach that impressed me as a student. One of the finest professors I've had at CSUF. I thoroughly enjoyed his Summer 10 class and I advise any novice actors, directors, and especially screenwriters to take this course. Eye opening for me to say the least.

Interesting class. Super helpful teacher with one-on-one meetings to go over your work. Attendance isn't mandatory but he takes roll for some reason. It's cool to watch movies, but there's a lot of work involved too. I'd recommend!

he really knows what he's talking about. he wrote the book, so you know he's going to cover the important stuff. you get to watch lots of videos. Overall, its kind of a tough class, just because there's only 150 points total. But as long as you put about 2-3 hours of studying in, you'll pass.

He has very clear cut lectures and outlines for each assignment and keeps you engaged. He's also open-minded in terms of how to view certain plot points in story structure writing. Only downside is that he is finicky when it comes to grammar. Your grade can easily get lowered if you have poor grammar, so that's what you should worry about.

class was less interesting than i thought. it isn't hands on at all, focus is on history. three tests, 50 points each. that's it. class is a lot of movies, a few lectures, and a few guest speakers. study guides for each test, answers gven. i would have passed had i actually studied.
