Interesting lectures, really knows his stuff and tells funny (albeit corny) jokes. Absolutely no extra credit, grade is evenly comprised of four multiple choice exams (final is comprehensive) and one 4 page term paper due halfway through semester. Easy A if you show up and take notes. Lets class out early 1/3 of the time.

Mr. Lobb is one of my favorite teaches at TCC. He's funny, organized, and he makes the course material fun. His class is divided up into 3 exams, and essay, and a comprehensive final. All exams, essays, and finals are worth 20% of your grade, and so your grade is determined by how well you take notes and study. If you attend class and you'll excel.

This class can be an easy class if you go to class and take great notes. His test are based solely on lecture and he does not give a review and he offers on extra credit. Your grade is based on 3 tests 1 paper and the final. ALL i can say is, study your notes religiously and you will probably get an A or B. don't show up to class and you will FAIL.

Dr. Lobb was an amazing professor, he is a practicing lawyer and know his stuff. I learned a lot from him and wish he was teaching Federal Government next semester. His test are easy as long as you take notes and study them. He loves people asking questions and will say "HINT HINT" when he's about to say something that will be on the test.

Professor Lobb actually increased my interest in government in general. In terms of his class, you MUST attend every lecture. His tests are off of his lecture only, and there's also a term paper. Only 4 grades total, but just show up and take notes and you'll do fine. His classes are very fun and informative. Would recommend!

Dr. Lobb will actually make you interested in government. He teaches because he loves it so he is very passionate about government. I never bought the book and got an A so it's your call. He can come off kind of rough at first but he really does care about every student. Best professor. Take him now!

Dr Lobb was awesome! His class is really easy, you just need to take good notes. He only has 4 tests but he doesnt have a review and no extra credit. But, he gives you *hint, hint, hint* to let you know what will be on the test. Also, you will need the book. He is a lawyer and really knows his stuff. I would def take him again!

Dr. Lobb is very intelligent and is there to help. His lectures are based off the test so do voice memos and he will let you know what is on it. Read the book also there will be questions on the test. He is a really good teacher and is a graduate from Harvard, really awesome!

He is very passionate about what he teaches, and he really cares about his students. He gives you 75% of what you need for the test in his lectures and the rest comes from the text book. He not only gives you everything you need to pass, but he gives useful life advice too. Your grade consists of only 4 tests and a paper so make sure to study!

He is a great professor. He truly wants his students to pass. He not only teaches you government but he gives you advice about life. He doesn't believe in study guides but there is no reason for them when his tests are literally his lectures and he lets you know EXACTLY what it will be about. He's a smart, funny and caring! take him!

Professor Lobb was one of my least favorite professor yet. He knows his stuff but does a poor job of getting the information across. The entire class is based off of 4 tests and a paper. NO extra credit or make up assignments. He does not believe in study guides and does nothing but lecture each and every day of class. Do NOT recommend.

Dr. Lobb is the man! He knows his stuff; being a lawyer, a Harvard graduate, you will learn and have fun doing so. His lectures are entertaining as they are very informative. He has a great sense of humor, you will like him, just take notes, or you can record him. I really wish he taught more subjects because I would signup in a heartbeat.

Dr. Lobb is great! His class was all lecture and a little textbook, but he always gave his "HINT HINT HINTs" which really helped. There are 4 tests and a research paper (you pick the topic, it's not long, and he grades easy!). Dr. Lobb is hilarious and smart and every one of my classmates loved him.

Took Texas Government on a wintermester. Be for warned the tests are all lecture based. You must attend class or get notes from someone. This is not a class to miss! However, Professor Lobb is hilarious. He is a lawyer with a degree from Harvard. Has wonderful stories and keeps the students entertained. There is a lot to be learned from him!

This professor is very funny. He startes class over every time with a joke. He doesn't use powerpoints your notes come straight from his lectures but, he gives you hints on what you really need to know. Expect to read the textbook when taking his class. I would defiantly take this professor again!! I would also highly recommend this professor!

He is an attorney and a Harvard graduate.(So you will get some high quality education) I really enjoyed taking his class and hope to get him as a professor again in the future. Dr. Lobb undoubtedely goes down as one of the most enjoyable and well respected instructors I have ever had. The topic of Government can be a dull subject at times, but he has a way of making the topic incredibly interesting to listen to and grasp ahold of. He loves to lecture, weaving in stories; but that's okay, due to his, "HINT, HINT, HINTS"!
