Eitel really knows his stuff. He is extremely knowledgeable and will take time to help you with your needs. Sometimes his lectures can be entertaining as his accent skews some words like: fact and pivot.

All of his classes challenged me, but I found him to be the most memorable of all of my professors at Marist. He takes tough subjects and explains it so well that you get it. He makes dense subjects interesting and understandable. His classes also apply to many real world concepts in the your career.

I still don't know what the objective of this class was. Terribly boring and can't get his point across so he rambles. Lots of business jargon. Only tests are the midterm and final, each of medium difficulty. Weekly assignments are group-based, your group can choose the topic of the term project, so you get to be creative.

All around wonderful professor and really smart guy. His approach in class, including subject humor, have actually piqued my interest in teaching myself certain math concepts I've previously ignored. I hate math, so that says a lot right there. His real world math applications make it interesting. Tests are decent and assignments clear.

Ive had Eitel for multiple courses & would recommend. He is extremely knowledgeable, but also can overwhelm w his lectures, which are long & dry. He gives so much information every week that it can be difficult to sort through it. However, one can never complain about not learning in his classes. Extremely thorough. Great for the serious student

Took this class (Data Mgmt) online, wasn't overly difficult, but the workload was heavy, and too much group work in my view. Not having class in person definitely hurt my understanding of the material and caused some headaches throughout the year - do NOT take online if you can help it.

Took him for DSS, Data Mang, and at least 1 or 2 others. Pretty easy grader, gives comprehensive study guide for tests. Projects are O.D. but he grades them very leniently. I have no trouble understanding him. Understanding his examples is key to success, but powerpoints do get kinda old.

Good class since there were only six of us in it. Fair grader, not too much work, very helpful with the semester project. Classes in the lab really helped for people who weren't taking the 1 credit lab. Very friendly, talked to him about international soccer all the time. Extremely happy to have taken his class

Awesome professor. Eitel is the man and will go out of his way to make sure you understand what you are doing in his class. Homework assignments are long but they cover all basis of what he teaches in class. Okay grading system, helps big time if you go to his office hours and talk to him about stuf

Very intelligent man. Knows what he is talking about. Problem is he talks for 75 minutes straight. Classes are boring, I skipped often. Class is based on Powerpoint slides which you can download from the web. HW assignments are long, but there's only 3.
