Everything is online from the tests to homework assignments but the final is in class. So you can use your notes on the tests but don't depend on them too much because you still need to know enough for the exam. If you do the practice exam online and review it before exam day you should be on track for a good grade.

It was sometimes hard to understand her but she will answer all of your questions. She was extremely helpful and cared about making sure her students passed. She will drop your lowest test score, you have the whole semester to do your homework, the tests are exactly like the reviews. Honestly she was just really great!

She is nice but language barrier was too much. Also, everything is on mymathlab even tests which is horrible because I like being able to get partial credit. I ended up getting 48 on a test and eventually dropping. Just don't!

This was an online class. The professors expectations and assignments were clearly laid out in her syllabus. She also tells you which questions to focus on for each exam. MyMathLab is used for all assignments and exams. Do the homework and practice the problems she indicates, you will do well in this class. She responded quickly to questions.

Comment:

If you are looking for a class that is self paced and the teacher does not communication with you for the entire semester take this class! Most teachers would reach out to their students if they notice that they are not doing well on the tests, but I never received anything. Lack of communication leads to bad teaching!

I took an online, shortened version of this class. I didn't speak to the professor at all. I didn't have the need to. Tests, homework, and final are all online, self explanatory. I took stats in high school so I was familiar with the material. I would not recommend the online version for someone who is not familiar with the subject.

Teacher did not answer questions s or emails. She seemed uncertain in how to do the work herself, which explains why she only does examples in book and will not answer questions on homework. Before I have time to boot up my computer she has already moved onto something else. The pace she sets is very fast. Then there is the language barrier.

The worst teacher I have had on any level of learning. Forget the accent, she was impossible to understand based on and tempo and brief coverage of topics. I'm amazed a math teacher could come up with such a ridiculous grading criteria. No homework grades, only 3 test scores, so you better be good at them. When I begged for help she wouldn't .....

Don't know why they pay a teacher for this online class. It's all done in mymathlab she doesn't do anything. An independent student with good math skills can get through class fine. I took 8 week flex. A semester would be better. She gets paid for hardly any work.

The language barrier that everyone else has mentioned was frustrating to a lot of the other students in my class, but I could have gotten past it. What drove me nuts about this teacher is that she doesn't understand the logic behind any of the concepts of calculus. If you want to UNDERSTAND calculus, and not just check a box, take someone else.

I have taken her online courses twice for DMAT0097 and 0098. I got an A in both of them, the first time I've EVER gotten A's in math. The software she uses is great and full of resources, and the homework assignments can be revised until you get them all right and get 100%. Put in the time and there's no reason why you shouldn't get an A+.

Took class online. Ok teacher, fine if you are good at math. Cross check your grades!!!! Recieved an over all score of 95.5% at end of the class But when I logged on to check grades on econnect she gave me a B, however she did fix it when I brought it to her attention. Then she gave me an A when I earned a B in the 2nd class I took from her!!

Do not take this teacher, I took her online and still got a negative experience. She uses MyMathLab which is nice unless you get a 79.9 like I did. She gave me a C and when I e-mailed her to talk to her about my grade she never replied. I wish I would've looked her up on ratemyprofessor.com before I took her...Do Not Take Her!
