Professor Winston is an amazing professor. She goes over the problems steps by steps so everyone can follow. The questions in the midterm and final are similar to the questions on the handout. Definitely recommend.

Prof. Winston is a considerably patient lecturer of a subject that can be conceptually difficult for some students. She always answers questions with enthusiasm and encourages student participation. Homework is regularly assigned; however, the assignments are brief and conducive to the learning process. Exams are fairly easy.

The entire of process about IT 203 is HORRIBLE. Professor did not explain what is her requirement of HW, but in fact, she was extremely strict about grading. As a result, she prefer to give students F!!!

Dr. Winston is great because she wants to see all her students succeed in the class. Doing well requires completion of the online homework and studying for the exams. Tests are made easier by the fact that you are permitted to use a one page (double sided) study sheet. Also, there are extra credit opportunities for each exam.

This class was not interesting at all, but Dr. Winston was an amazing teacher. She cares what her students get and gives hw opportunities that help with your test grade. She does assign hw every class but its online and doable. Definitely would recommend taking BAN001 with her if you have to. There are 3 test and you can use a page of notes for e/.

Ridiculous for an online NO CREDIT course. 8 exams that are very long and time consuming, have to teach yourself statistics. Book and online course costs way too much for a no credit course. Didn't learn anything and was a rip-off.

It was too much for a graduate level summer course. Several students had trouble finding the SAP installer in the portal. Some were not from ITCS background and struggled. Lots of reading, discussion board activity and homework. The final project was easy. If you do the work, read the book and participate in her discussion boards then its an A.

Took class for Summer 2. Needed to read entire textbook. Assigned a tough midterm, PPT project, essay, hw's, and projects. Was tough because you needed to put in a lot of effort, ex. sources for a simple HW discussion. Don't take this online if you find it difficult to keep up with reading and assignments. Had Professor Winston for BAN 001, although it was a hard class, she made it worth attending. Definitely one of the best professors I've ever had and I definitely recommend taking her for this course. I wish she taught more mandatory classes and I would definitely take her as a professor again. Thank you for being great Professor Winston!!

the least responsive professor I've ever had. one of my peers went as far as to say she is an embarrassment to Zarb. SAP software assignment is annoying and frustrating. she gives almost zero support and only indicates what you really need to do and what she expected AFTER you've submitted it. abysmal. i really want little to do with IT again.

For a summer online course, this wasn't that bad. Workload is very manageable, however it will pileup if you don't stay on top of it. Dr. Winston can take a while to get back to you if you email her, just be forewarned. She isn't always crystal clear as to what she wants either. Great thing is she can be very lenient on grading.

This class could have been so much more than it was...Interesting subject matter, but her lectures were somewhat disorganized and her complex/ridiculous grading system was embarrasing...She needs to update the case studies as they are from decades ago - step it up! This is grad school.

Took her for Grad BCIS requirement. The woman does not know a thing. She teaches straight from the book and reads her lectures from the screen. It's embarrasing that a teacher like that is employed at Hofstra. It's an easy A but you'll be bored to tears.
