I loved her intro to cultural anthro class. I've heard that she is condescending, but I found it kind of funny. I didn't know much about the subject prior to this class, and ended up loving it! There were three exams, a group project, and a final project. Her grading is fair, and gave several hints for the final! Highly recommend taking her class!

Dr. Brenner is an excellent professor. I loved her class. The people that said she talked down to them and was rude are right, but she only talks down to people who are rude to her. Eg: texting in class, talking in class, coming in 15 minutes late, not handing in homework, etc. She never once spoke down to me and was very helpful and interesting

This teacher gets a bad rap, but thats only because she assigns a lot of work. She DOES NOT talk down to students, she just talks very assertively to get her point across. The papers are really easy, as are the tests, and she's very very clear in her lectures. She's also very friendly. Not, at all, a bad teacher.

This is an awful professor. Do not take this class. It is fairly hard, and she will be of no help to you. When you ask her a question, she talks down to you as if you are stupid.Unfortunatley, this pretty interesting class is ruined by this awful, awful professor.

She was a great professor! I learned so much in her class, she makes Anthro interesting and fun. Tests are easy if you take good notes and study them & read the articles assigned. She gets mad if you don't get involved in class discussions or ask ques. I would def. take her again...you'll learn alot!

phenomenal professor. she is very passionate about what she teaches. as long as you do what she says to do, attend class regularly, do homework/readings, and listen to her when she basically gives you the answers to the tests, you will not only get a's, but you'll LEARN something.

I like her a lot. I actually took her for 3 Anthropology classes and I am a business major. She is sarcastic and can get heated during class discussions but her classes are interesting and sometimes fun. As long as you pay attention and do the assigned readings you will do fine.
