Amazing professor. She makes the neuro material enjoyable. The material she presents is manageable and she offers much leeway with extra credit & grades! Her ability to sympathizes with her students --> A+ Professor! Highly recommend any course she teaches (HD220/320).

Sweetest teacher at Cornell. Her teaching style is incredibly helpful and clarifies any concept that is even remotely complicated. As long as you do the work you are assigned you will do well in the course. I highly recommend this professor!

Amazing Professor! I absolutely adore Dr. Temple and recommend her class to anyone at Cornell, even if they aren't a science major. Prelims are difficult, but extremely fair if you've done the study guide. She is extremely accommodating and offers a lot opportunities to earn extra credit. Honestly one of the coolest profs I've had at Cornell!

Excellent professor: the class is easy but fascinating, the grading is very fair (and generous), and you can tell she really does want the best for her students.

Great prof, great class. This class is really easy (A+ is possible) if you study the study guide. Despite it's easiness, the material is very interesting. Her lectures might be boring, but she does show some cool videos or tell interesting stories sometimes.

She posts study guides before prelims that if you can split them up and answer every question, you're guarunteed a great grade. All her notes are online, so you don't even have to go to class, but if you do, even occasionally (or just read her comments on the syllabus) you see she is great- a professor who actually wants her students to do well!

I wasn't looking forward to this class, but when I actually took it, I was blown away. It was easy, yet you are learning about complex concepts dealing with the brain and mind. A lot of rote memorization, but she's a cool prof. The kind of person you want to grab a beer and sit on a trailer porch with.

Her lectures consist of reading slides out loud so going to class is pointless since she posts the slides online. I found the tests to be okay, but she lets you do a poster project that counts for most of your grade and there is tons of extra credit. I'm not a science person, but I did really well.

Her lectures and slides are verbatum from the book (ie you don't need to go to class) but she certainly gets the point across, gives out study guides for exams, and is accomodating and helpful (well, her online chat review thing was bizarre).

This course is not for anyone who took BIO 105-106 (known as bio for heroes for a reason) and especially not for bio majors. You'll be bored out of your skull. This is a great course for HD majors. The case studies are really interesting.
