Dr. Lewis knows her abnormal psych. Her tests are wordy and pretty difficult. She uses PPT slides and tells a lot of stories. It's worth taking her class. There's a lot of work involved, but you'll learn tons.

Dr. Lewis is very interesting with a ton of stories. She really knows about what she teaches, however, I'll agree with everyone else; her tests are ridiculous. Every test I have studied hours for, and every time I get a C or less, and I'm not usually a C student. Dr. Lewis is a nice woman, but her class is tough. Be prepared to study!

I'm not sure what everyone is so upset about. I'm in her PSY304 class right now and I have an A. I find her lectures very interesting and her tests are hard but if you go to class you should do all right. There's no need to flip out and drop, trust me. :)

I am a A's, B's, and occasional C student but I now have an F on my transcript because of this lady. I went to every class and failed. I have no idea how she is still a teacher because she is impossible to learn from!! Her tests were an impossible 100+ questions. I heard the rumors about her and didn't listen. I heard the rumors about her exams being so hard that no one does well in. I heard the rumors that it is on obscure material, not found in the lecture or book. The Dr. Lewis told a story of a girl who had never made anything but an A her whole life until her class, and crying outside her office for three hours. DROP HER AND NEVER TAKE HER CLASS!

All I have to say is that anyone who said that they like this teacher must have been under the influence of a very powerful drug, because she is NOT a good teacher! On everytest in my class EVERYONE failed! Her curve was 50 points...rediculous.She pulled her Q's out of thin air and she shows useless videos. It is psyc of men. Not biology class!

I like Dr. Lewis very much and think she is an interesting person. However, her tests are very hard. I usually make all A's and in this class I'll barely get a C. I think it's due to having way too much material on the test to remember. If each test was cut into thirds it might be manageable.

I hated this class with a passion. Half the class dropped before mid-semester, and most of the rest that were left failed. I have no idea where she got the questions for her tests b/c none of the material was in the book. She was unresponsive to pleas for help, and she was rude and condescending in class. Take April Williams instead.

Class started off impossible to pass and extremely intimidating- mid semester she completely changed and was laid back class was great and even though I thought I would fail I ended up with a B...she is thought to be mean and intimidating but she is actually really nice if you speak to her...dont be scared!

DO NOT TAKE! Cancelled a lot of classes, still expected us to know the material. Lectures are useless b/c of her tangents. VERY disorganized. TESTS ARE IMPOSSIBLE! Stated that some people took the class 3 times b/f passing....as if that was ok. Doesn't explain the material well at all. Many students went to the dean to complain. DO NOT TAKE HER!!!!

Dr. Lewis is psychotic. She shows like 50 movies for no reason at all. (none of them EVER have to do with what we are learning about at that time.) She spends a lot of time talking about her son's sex life, and it's creepy. She also brought a baby to our class, for no reason...... I wouldn't wish her upon the person I like least in this world.

Dr. Lewis has tons of experience in psy. so she always has great examples of everything. I really enjoyed her class and thought it was worth my time and effort. The only thing I didnt like was the tests (Very Hard) but she is fair by curving the grades.

Tons and tons of material. She makes like 140 questions per test, and then cuts it down from stuff that she couldn't answer. She does round everything twice...at the time of the test, and then at the end of semester (also throws out the outliers!!!)

I really like her. She makes this class really interesting, and she knows exactly what she's talking about. There are a lot of complaints about the videos on here, but she shows the videos so we can better understand the things we are going to be tested over. They are for our benifit -- they're not just a way to pass time.
