This woman is a total ****. She chooses favorites for one thing, and if your not one of them, then your screwed. Her assignments are boring and hard. Even even after going to the writing lab two or three times for just one paper, I'd still get****ty grades from her. You also had to switch off papers in class, so other people can grade them.

Leads great discussion based classes. Great selection of reading materials and writing topics. To be able to improve your grade you MUST be willing to go and talk to her about your writing. Otherwise, she strongly believes in peer-editing which proved EXTREMELY useful. Great class!

Praxis is a thankless, unnecessary class to begin with, but Betsy goes that extra mile and makes it an arduous and un-enlightening borefest. Like a learning disability or some rare form of brain-eating cancer, Betsy is an obstacle one must overcome to lead a happy and productive life.

Betsy is an unbelievably childish teacher. She constantly talks down to her class and acts like we're all in middle school. Her exams are unneccessarily difficult and you end up doing more work for her O&M than others. If you are in Watauga, avoid Foods & Nutrition!
