Took Mysticism with her. Not the most pleasant of experiences. However, you CAN pass a class with her if you a)Read and comprehend assigned materials b)Interact with her politely and c)Prepare a decent "cheat sheet" of notes which she allows for tests. Mysticism was more difficult b/c it's hard to discuss an "experience" that can't be defined.

This was one of the easiest classes I have ever taken with tests that I got all As on just by studyin her notes the day before her test. The material was intrersting and useful for my major. I can understand some criticisms but if you don't have some background into this subject than don't take this course.

WORST TEACHER EVER! She doesn't even try to help if you're not doing well. Totally unclear & monotone. Don't even try to go to the bathroom, you'll get called out! Tests are extremely difficult b/c of their wording. I wish I didn't take this class! Only learned things on my own!

THE WORST TEACHER ever. First of all she treats the class as if they are elementary students. Sad to say but we pay her! She would ask where you were going if you were going to the restroom. Each morning before class people would rant about her yet no one would speak up. All tests are totally subjective- essay ?s Your hand will nearly fall off!

Miserable class. Syllabus had inaccurate page numbers. its really hard to pay attention because of her tone and her poor ability to engage with students. lecture notes are mixed up and vague on top of that. same w/ her study guides if any. discouraged my interest in the subject completely. if you're into theology, you're better off going elsewhere

i like learning about religions, but she sucks. makes lectures so boring and doesn't seem to care about her students. i was really sick and emailed her i would miss class and she told me i needed to withdrawl if it would be continuous problem. i learned some, but wouldn't take her again

Awesome class, i learned a lot about God, and it really challenged my faith, wonderful lady, didnt really like it when people tried to push there beliefs on someone else, which is good, and i really enjoyed lectures, i felt like i learned something would recommend

She is really nice and she doesn't appreciate it when kids won't pay attention. She is a little monotone but she REALLY knows what she's talking about and it's pretty easy. all you have to do is go to class and take a couple tests.

Not a bad professor. I think she pushes her interpretations sometimes instead of sticking to the facts. Decently clear onw hats going to be on thetest. You have to go to class even if your late bc its 15% OF YOUR GRADE. no homework but 5 tests each about a different religion. not a lot of discussion mostly lecture

Attendance is mandatory and worth 15% of your grade. Lectures are boring, consists of powerpoint presentations, and a few films. Tests are long, questions are tricky. I thought this class would be interesting, but was a disappointment. And don't even think of laying your head down or sneaking out to use the restroom, she'll have a tantrum.

Wow, what a disappointment. I really expected this class to be interesting, but professor made it a bore. Expect to write notes constantly and only get a break for a brief vidio, which she requires you to pay attention to. Additionally, questions on tests are based more off of what she says rather than the notes.

I do not recommend this class to anyone. I went into this class thinking it would be wonderful and interesting, and it is not. She ruins everything, she is the most boring, monotone, uninteresting professor i have ever had. Attendance is mandatory, which is also a bad thing. The tests are hard if you dont know how to study for them. Just avoid her.

HARD CLASS. it seems easy at first, but she is very unclear with her tests leaving open-ended questions and if you dont respond how she wants, your screwed. Overall her class is not good. She does a poor attempt at trying to explain myths but repeats herself every lesson! After the first week you are bored because she is sorepetitive.AVOID-NOT EASY

She isn't always clear when communicating the material, but she knows her stuff. If you are lazy and want an easy A, do not take her. If you actually come to class to learn and you take notes, you will be fine. She checks grammar, so know how to write!

I understand where some of the people are coming from, but she is an overall 'OK' teacher. She knows her stuff, and if you come to class her notes will help you immensely with the tests. I had a rough semester when I took her and when I spoke with her she was very understanding. C+.
