I definitely recommend taking her if you are not a math person. She understands this and makes her class easy for those of us who are just looking to fulfill a gen ed. 3/4 of the tests were take home (including the final) and she did not give nightly homework. She was understanding and kind to her students.

Dr. Mauch is such a sweetheart. She takes time to explain things that students don't understand. I hate math and I still did very well in this class. She is understanding if you miss class and helps you out in anyway she can.

Comment:

She is one of the nicest professors I ever had. I literally felt bad for this professor all semester. Some of the students in my class had absolutely no respect towards her and asked the most dumbest and the most overly specific questions to her at the same time. I don't know how she put up with these students but god bless her.

I am very average at math and I would never ever suggest a student to take her. She is absolutely awful, assigns an insane amount of homework and does not teach anything. She expects you to teach yourself everything. I feel this is unfair and a poor way of teaching. Would never ever recommend, stay clear you'll be doing yourself a favor.

A very nice woman, but not a great professor. Other students often had to correct her mistakes she made in class. She understands the material but isnt great at teaching it. A very nice woman though.

If you are looking for an EASY A that you don't really LEARN anything, then I would recommend this class. I personally hate going to this class. I think it is a waste of my time. And the teacher is NEVER prepared. She always is using her cell phone in class. AKA THIS IS A POINTLESS CLASS.
