I took English 150 online with professor Preston and really enjoyed the class. She makes Skype available if you have questions and is a relatively easy grader as long as you put forth a reasonable amount go effort. There is a lot of group work, however, you are assessed typically on an individual basis. There's a lot of work, but you can work ahead

I took her for writing 116 and got an A but I had to work pretty hard. Writing is also one of my strong points. She is really nice and gives good feedback. I would take her if you are looking to improve your writing.

When I took composition with PS as a freshman it was f2f and though it was hard I got better at writing. I took her blended intro to lit class and liked that a lot, now i'm in her 275 online class and really I don't have to do anything but read novels take quizzes and post discussions on occasion--ha ha i'm getting an easy B now!

I just came on to say what a great online class this has been. I was real scared at the beginning but everything was clear from then until now. We are about to end,I worked hard but I will get an A and I cant believe I actually liked the poetry the best!

Preston is Unclear. I wouldn't give too much thought to the positive reviews she probably writes them herself lol. Everyone in my class basically found her painful, aloof, and arrogant. Avoid the headache and take English 110 with someone who teaches well, is easy to deal with, and treats students with respect. She offers neither of the three.

Warning: if you actually want to learn English take someone else. She would constantly give kids Fs if they internally cited like this: (Auerbach 475). My next semester two Profs told me I SHOULD be citing that way and they wouldn't accept anything else... THANKS PRESTON! And, she always brings her personal issues into the classroom. AVOID!

Whoever wrote that she was rude on the first day of class is full of S* She had students in front teaching/showing the first day! Take her for an easy B (which u'll get unless you f-off). Pretty darn easy. Most my friends wrote 3-4 papers with the last being 10 pages. I wrote one with a group and one alone (5 pages). Come to class, do the hour or two of homework each day, easy B. And she's funny.

I took her Winterim Digital Storytelling class, and it was amazing. Preston is very helpful, and while she didn't know all of the technology we used, she learned right along with the rest of the class. She is easy to get along with, and tries to get to know her students. Good prof.

English is my favorite and best subject. But I went to one class. Just one, and i knew i had to drop. She talked way too fast, and lacked sensitivity. She passed the attendance sheet around and i raised my hand and told her my name wasn't on it, and she rudely responded "Why don't you read the directions at the top, hmm?" I'll never forget that.
