Comment:

Ella tries to make sure that everybody passes. She gives a bunch of extra credit but also give s much homework. Math Lab is her best friend but at the end of the semester, the homework will count as XC. She is hard to understand at times and she does not do a very good job of explaining the material. You have to teach yourself the lessons as well.

Ella bends over backwards to give extra credit and wants everyone to succeed in the class. She clearly cares. Unfortunately, Ella apparently evidently doesn't understand how to use the online learning platforms she teaches from. The homework was disorganized and hard to tell what was mandatory or optional, and she *way* over-uses email.

I would avoid this professor at all costs. If you can't, take the class in the summer. The instructor does not teach the class in a way that helps the students understand the material, and the material is easy. She makes it harder than it needs to be and everything she does is confusing or spelled wrong. The only good thing is the extra credit.

She is a very nice lady who definitely tries hard but not a great professor. It's very hard to understand her and she is all over the place during lectures. She gives TONS of extra credit which helps but that's not enough. I recommend avoiding her class but if you can't, you will most likely need a tutor. She made this easy class difficult.

Terrible lady, terrible teacher, avoid at all costs. I say this again, AVOID AT ALL COSTS. I did all the homework, studied, went to class every day, did well on the tests,and somehow ended with a D. Something doesnt add up.

She really tried to have everyone understand her, but she is a terrible example of a professor. She shouldn't be teaching at a university level and she has no concept of time. Every day I had to walk out of her class so I could go to another class. A joke. But gives TONS of extra credit. DROP. I didn't listen, but DROP no matter what.

She was very disorganized and would get upset if you did not understand her. She definitely played favorites. Some people (African-Americans) in the class got A's and B's even even if they did not do the homework. One girl never purchased a book. One girl did not come towards the end, car broke, she got an A.

She means well, you can tell that. However, her delivery of the material is subpar. She is extremely confusing and difficult to understand. Not only can she not speak clearly, she cannot even write legibly on the board. She has sent over 80 emails over the course of the semester attempting to explain assignments. She is the worst teacher I have had

Saddly all is not as it should be. Her personality is sweeter then honey...provided you are not a slacker...and its like confetti of extra credit points. But that is where it ends. stright up...she is a nutty old bat and class quickly goes arye as far as class work. Be prepaired for anything in test, and the infernal "My Math Lab" system much work.

Please for your own sake drop her if you get her. Her accent is awful and you honestly cannot understand a thing, plays favorites majorly, requires attendance and has several items of homework that is collected and graded every day. She is nice but really should not be teaching at a university.

Ella has a very thick accent and can be very difficult to understand. She treats her students like they are in grade school. We got homework every day and she collected it and graded it. She's also disorganized. I would really recommend not taking her and picking another teacher if at possible.

I feel sorry for all the students that don't understand Calculus. Your grade was NEVER known because she didn't keep track and it was just all-around awful. I'm sure she means well, but the execution is just terrible. Avoid if possible.

Ella is great. She has a thick Hebrew accent and can be hard to understand at times, however, she is ALWAYS willing to help you. She offers a lot of extra credit. If you get 200 points, she raises your grade one letter grade. For perfect attendance you receive 100 extra points. I would highly recommend her!
