Comment:
Dr. Chernoff is a great professor. She's very approachable, and she makes some corny jokes during lecture, which I enjoyed. She explained any questions that students had thoroughly. Exams are highly based on the practice exam which she goes over the answers for during review day. She also curves the exams. I would take her class again!

I went into this class terrified because of all these reviews. Everything you need for the exams is in the Powerpoints. The practice tests are like 50% of the exam... plus she devotes an entire day before each exam as review! She gives extra credit for pop quizzes. It comes out to over 10% in EC. Exams are curved too. I really enjoyed the class.

she knows her material, thats for sure. she bashes other teachers and the guy who wrote the book everyday. she is unpleasant towards people very frequently, most times very rude. Would not recommend this teacher unless you have to. good luck

She is the WORST professor I have ever had. It's obvious that she has no desire to teach and is only doing it to fund her research. She lies about what will be on the exams, and she will give you different answers for the same question. Then she treats you like you're an idiot for not knowing the correct answer. The mandatory book is useless.

She is horrible! She makes kids feel bad for asking questions. She will make sure you feel dumb and has no desire to teach. She will make sure to talk about only her research and cares only about herself. Take embryology with Dr. Ulbright!

Many people think that she's a bad teacher, but all you have to do is go to the lectures or even listen to the istream. She's fairly clear and uses her notes for about 95% of the questions on the test. If more than one person asks the same question she'll be a little mean about it, but you had it comming. Just study and you'll get at least a B.

She has absolutely no desire to teach - and it shows. She should just stick with research because she is an awful teacher. She makes fun of students in class (whether they are there or not); refuses to listen to questions; very rude in person; terrible notes and powerpoints; she is, by all practical definitions, a bad professor.
