She's a really great teacher with an awesome sense of humor and all she really wants are for her students to do well. There is an assignment due almost every class but they're not too hard and she's a fair grader. She'll really help you learn how to write

WOW!!! what a work load this teacher gives. you will have an assignment due every class. You will learn though. I hate English. I never did good on it, until I took Professor Davis' 101 and 102 class. If you become confused in class, go to her office. She wants to help her students do awesome. I'm serious to the person reading this, take her class!

Okay professor. Not very organized but very helpful. Kept the class really busy but seemed to grade a little too easily(most of the people I spoke to had A+s). Maybe not the best professor to take but she does an alright job.

Davis is a great teacher who really wants to help her students succeed. However, she can be unorganized at times, not actually discussing how to do an assignment the way she wants, while spending the class time talking about something else. She is also a tough grader considering the aforementioned. However, if you love English, take Davis.

Gives you too many handouts, an forgets which ones we were supposed to go over. Gives us a set of instructions for each assignment, but writes something completely different in her notes. All we've doing is reading, I already know how to do that. We haven't been quizzed on anything, and isn't helping us out with out research papers. My advice: find another honors teacher if you can and avoid this one, it's not worth the stress

Prof Davis really helped me out when I was just starting out in college. She taught me the habits you have to have to succeed in college. She has drop-in hours for you to chat with her. She once told me that I looked like a programmer, and I still feel flattered now, months later.

Nice prof, talks really soft, gives you a lot of work, expects a lot out of you, reads EVERYTHING & COMMENTS everything you write! You would have an A+ in another class doing her lvl of work. Altogether you'll be a better student, writer, and gain skills after this class. I would have to admit, I STRESSED.

Hands down the chillest teacher in the world. Learned so much and had the time of my life. I'd wake up just to go to this class, even if I had not done the assignment.

This is probably one of the toughest, yet most useful, classes I have ever taken. Davis teaches you writing methods/concepts such as MLA & how to present an argument, which can help you SO MUCH in writing essays. She assigns a lot of work, but it helps you to get better, & she really cares about your work. I highly recommend Davis!

My second class with her. She genuinely cares about her students. She has a great sense of humor. She'll help you if you ask her, and she offers good advice in general, not just for the class. People who dislike reading and writing will dislike her class, but for English majors and the like, she's the one to take for 101 and 102.

Davis is a little disorganized, it's true, but she is very, very helpful and caring, and she really does want her students to succeed. She likes to make jokes and she can be pretty funny at times. She's got a soft voice, so if you take her, sit in the front row!

GET READY FOR A HUGE WORKLOAD, THIS CLASS IS LIKE A JOB, ALWAYS HESITANT TO GO INTO CLASS BECAUSE YOU'LL GET CRUSHED WITH THE AMOUNT OF UN-NEEDED HANDOUTS AND ESSAYS. BE READY TO PICK UP A NEW HOBBY OF READING. I MANAGED TO GET AN A THO. THE PROFESSOR IS VERY HELPFUL, NICE, AND I GUESS SHE DOES CARE FOR HER STUDENTS, BECAUSE YOU LEARN SO MUCH.

Very disorganized for someone with so many damn handouts and assignments. Very nice, but you have to warm up to her. It is ALOT of work, but I ended up with a very high A...just don't get behind or you'll be screwed.

She is a bit scattered. Written assignments are due every class and big assignments are piled up on top of each other. So for example, a poetry assignment will be due while you have reading journals , novel reading and aesearch paper all going on. HOwever, she is willing to help and cares about making her students better thinkers and writers.

She is a very helpful teacher. She will help you inside and outside the classroom. It's a huge amount of writing, her honor class is heavy in reading. And if you want an advise just go to her office, she always listens to you when you need help.
