Professor Holtman is a very nice instructor who is willing to help her students in any way that she can. She took time out of her schedule to conduct study sessions at various times during the semester. The sessions were very helpful in preparing for tests. The tests can be very difficult, however. Studying must be a priority.

Very good teacher, with a great personality! She knows the material well. She spends her personal time helping students, and works hard to make sure every student passes. My only complaint is that her test are very hard; there is no such thing as easy in her class.

I had to stay up until 12 to register for bio 102 with her. Amazing class, you will enjoy it. Extra credits and one take home test means it is difficult not to get at least an B. She is retiring though, I doubt this rating will help anyone, sadly..

She is an extremely nice lady. Gives tough test though; with extra credit and good attendance, an A is probable. put it all together and you realize why her classes are impossible to get in to. I really liked her.

BIO is a hard, but she makes it as easy as possible & is super nice teacher. Lots of study help, extra credit, reviews available. There are about 9 or 10 tests (incl. lab tests)so if you fail one it's not the end of the world. Study hard & pay attention & you'll know what's on the tests.

Such a great teacher! She teaches the subject well and makes every effort she can to help her students. She expects attendance and for you to keep us with yourself. Study review sheet and tests aren't that hard, but expect the wording on tests to change from how she taught it. You will not find a better BIO teacher and so sweet.

Loves what she does. Great teacher! You will learn a lot of interesting stuff. Just pay attention in class and write down or star important notes. The whole pig lab thing in 102 will not be as bad as you might think!

EASY CLASS. Go to lecture and lab and you will be fine. She boosts your grade with a ton of extra credit, a takehome test, and an easy project. Take this class. Be up at midnight to register, otherwise, there is no way to get in.

An excellent and engaging teacher, she really loves the subject matter and keeps you wanting more. Extremely helpful with any clarification needed and makes her class and absolute joy. Sweet, kind and thoughtful but you get out of her class what you put into it. Study hard and do all assignments and you'll get an A.
