Took hybrid class. It's almost a little too easy. 4 papers/projects, all will be a guaranteed 100% if you put in any effort and listen to her feedback. Class is kind of boring and disengaging, but really simple. Hardest part was the homework, which she drops 4 assignments. Take if you want an easy A. She doesn't do A+ in her class however.

Dr. J is a genuinely kind and caring professor. However, her class can be very disorganized and confusing. Also, essays are done in groups.

Just follow Mrs Johnson's rubric and you will be fine. Make sure you submit assignments on time and don't miss the discussions- they are easy points. I took the class the online, but you have the option to work in groups for some projects to make the work load easier.

The class isn't hard and the way she grades is very clear. A lot of effort isn't required to get an A, as long as everything is turned in and decent, you'll get an A. There is extra credit at the end as well. Probably one of the nicest professor that I've met, super sweet, very flexible, and understanding

Although my political views were on the other end of the spectrum with Dr. J, I can honestly say she was not the typical 'overbearing liberal' that many of us have had as professors. Whenever I have a technical issue, which I had many with my computer during this class, she was understanding and helpful through it. One of my favorite profs yet

Hands down the best professor at this school! She was amazing and really cared about her students. Attendance does matter so show up to class everyday aside from that we had 4 projects in the class. A personal statement, a website analysis, Business proposal and a Manager interview. Get all the projects done and show up to class you will get an A.

(Aramco) Dr. J is one of the best professors for ENG302. The class includes 6 quizzes, 4 projects, 4 responses. 4 discussion boards, and a digitation portfolio. She gives opportunities for extra credit. Cons: The lectures are excruciatingly boring. She is the most feminist professor ever and she is using her position to influence others.

She is not clear with updating when assignments are due. she only changes them on her syllabus that u have to re-download on your own time and hope to catch a change she made. I missed several assignments that were due because she expects us to know when she updates her syllabus. Isn't it much easier to just make an announcement...

Dr. Johnson is hands down THE BEST professor. Working on every writing project was amazingly fun and her feedback was the best part. She WANTS her students to learn and is willing to do help them in ANY manner possible. DB's were interactive and interesting and quizzes were easy. Talked to her about things other than the course too. Brilliant lady.

First online class and I loved it. Assignments are clear and posted in advance of the week they are due. She is a very easy grader, as long as you complete the assignments on time you will receive an A. I only lost 2 points in the entire course. She is on campus, which is nice if you ever need to see her in person for help. Take this class!

This professor has been one of the best I've had at ASU. Assignment instructions were very clean which is often a problem with online courses. If you've never taken an online course before, this is a great one to start with. Shes also an easy grader.

Dr. Johnson is one of the most nicest and amazing teachers I've ever had. I took ENG 101 and 102 with her online. Even though it's an online class, she makes herself available to you and will help you out with anything. She even gives extensions once in a while as well. Pretty easy A overall. Definitely recommend taking any class of hers.

I loved this class, the work was minimal even for a Session A (half-semester) class. Sadly, she does not give out A+, but I don't think any of the teachers do. Dr. Johnson is really helpful in writing papers and a sweet teacher I definitely recommend her!

Took ENG 301 this last fall semester and Dr. Johnson was the best professor for this class. Her grading was very easy and fair. Make sure you put the course ID in any emails to her, she loves that. Got an A+ in the class; most assignments very simple and easy to complete.

You only read 2 of Austen's books- so don't take it just to read her. You read the books she would have read in her time, so it's still interesting but some books were painfully dull. You really just need the basic info though so skimming/spark notes works. She tells you what's on midterm/final and explains it in class. Super helpful and nice lady.

Took course online. Professor extremely helpful, as well as accommodating, gives plenty of time to complete assignments, and is very fair in grading. Quick response back on questions. Would highly recommend this professor.
