This class is pretty much exactly the same as the intro to audit class, just with a different segment of information. So if you did well and enjoyed it then, you'll have the same experience, and vice versa. 2 exams and a take home final, and easy points throughout. Only complaint is the slow rate that information is covered.

I took 311 with Kolos and hated it, but Landgraff's class was very easy and understandable and she's very personable as well. 4 research assignments which are easy As, 4 quizzes which are fairly easy as well and 2 exams which weren't too bad. Final was a non-cumulative take home. Just pay attention in class and you'll get an A

Professor Landgraf is hilarious and is incredibly knowledgable, but her class often feels aimless and slow. Her class is relatively easy, with 3 exams (allows a double sided cheat sheet), 4 research assignments (easy points), and a case. Her chapter handouts will make your life much easier as they include nearly everything you need to know.

Landgraf really is just a crazy old lady. Shes a lot of fun for her lectures, and the class isnt too bad. She gave us an impossible exam right after Spring Break that half the class failed so I couldnt get an A. If it wasnt for that, the class was pretty easy and pretty interesting. Final is a Case you do all semester (and a majority in class)

One of the best accounting professors I've had at Loyola! As long as you do your assigned readings, quizzes, and hw problems, it's relatively easy to get an A. The only thing did not like was how she has her favorite students, and not shy about letting the whole class know that.

Best accounting teacher I have had at Loyola. There are a LOT of points in the class so don't worry if you miss points here and there. Very friendly, helpful and passionate about accounting. Tests were pretty easy overall. She tells you what to study and all of the quizzes are done online. I highly recommend Dr. Landgraf!

Face it: Auditing is not that interesting, but Landgraf makes it fun somehow. Sure, her lectures are a bit wacky and off track but she kind of makes it fun. I'm happy with her. Her exams though: kind of hard. Easy to get a B in her class though if you do all your homework. They really boost your grade.

Auditing is the most boring class ever! And Landgraf doesn't exactly help make it exciting. She doesn't teach thoroughly, and you can't even use the book as a reference. Lot's of homework. Take home and open book exam are very difficult. I would tell you to avoid her if you had the option.

She is nice, but did not give a lot of knowledge as I expect. Most of what I learned came from guest speakers who present the fraud cases and other interesting stuffs.

Very easy and helpful professor. Study guides for exams (best 3 out of 4), one was a take-home exam. Announced quizzes, announced homework, 25% of your grade. A drastic change from Gillespie, and I actually wish Landgraf had worked us harder. That's sad.

Intimidating at first, but v v cool, probably the best ACCT prof you'll ever have. Repeats everything so you're sure to remember it. V helpful and understanding, inside and outside of class. 3 exams and final, some quizzes and HW, too. Easiest A you'll have in upper level acct class

Dr. Landgraf has to be one of the best accounting professors I've ever had. II managed to learn more in her class in the first few weeks than I did all of a semester at my old school. Quizzes are over exactly what she says. Tests as well. She is also a very funny lady. I highly recommend any class with her.

She is one of best teachers I have encountered at Loyola. Her tests and quizzes can be difficult but she is extremely helpful. She is always available to help and would rather work with you to understand something then let you just fail. She is clear in class and has an excellent background in accounting. I found her hilarious.

As if her shrill annoying voice wasn't enough to deal with, she is also hard, unclear, and doesn't present the information well at all. Pass on her if you can... I coudln't.
