Although very strict about citations, Ellen is one of the best teachers in the music program. She is very approachable, her lectures are highly engaging, and her assignments are actually practical outside of the class. She will be greatly missed at U of G.

She's very knowledgeable about the material. Tends to be an "over-achiever" - i.e. makes students read an insane amount of material, which you will no doubt forget. She is opinionated and self-assured. Good stuff, but keep your eyes open.
