Boring class, very scatterbrained and rambles on making very little headway in class. She was almost never prepared for class. Worst professor ever wouldn't recommend her.

Dr. High was one of the best professors I have yet to encounter. Her class was long, but also extremely insightful. She knows what she is talking about and has an incredible way to get the mind to think out of the box. The class is an easy A if you SHOW UP and DO the work. It's English 156 what did people expect? She is very nice and understanding.

I really wish I hadn't taken her class. She gives assignments and forgets about them, making you do unnecessary work. Doesn't seem to remember anything she tells the class from one session to the next. Disorganized and unprepared.

I did not like this class. She was very unorganized and very hard to put up with. She spends most of the class time rambling and never actually gets to her point. I've had other creative writing classes before and loved them, but I hated this class. I wouldn't risk taking her ever again.

Professor High is absolutely ridiculous. She is always unprepared for class and very unprofessional. She rambles the entire time during class and half of the time it doesn't even relate to the class. She doesn't like when anyone says anything that goes against her opinion and she is not helpful when you are confused about assignments.

She is really unprofessional and unprepared for class. She doesn't show up for scheduled conferences, and is often late when she does. She will tell you one thing to change about your writing and when you do she says you should have written it how you originally had it. She is just totally unorganized and unprofessional. felt like a waste.

First of all, that picture is the most misleading thing I've ever seen, haha. Ellesa was one of the sweetest teachers I've ever had. Though I don't suggest taking her creative nonfiction course, I imagine she's great at teaching other craft.

Nice lady, but the class is a lot of work for a cluster course. has 5 required textbooks!! and you have to write reports and research project. It is not really that hard of a class, just more work than say forestry or art history.

Really cool professor. She definitely loves her Native American heritage, but she loves her classes too! Speak up in her class, and she'll love you! When she reads certain quotes, they end up on the test, so pay attention to her reading.

Don't take her for creative non fiction. No matter what I wrote it was wrong. She just didn't like my writing. If you do taking her, try writing about Native American's that seemed to be the only thing she was interested in. She gave way to much work for the last 3 weeks of class!
