Favorite teacher at WCCCD hands down. He is such an enthusiastic, compelling teacher; he makes you want to learn. EVERYTHING he says and writes on the board is on the test, everything! So write down whatever he writes and add side notes of what he says in your notes too. Test are multiple choice, easy if you took notes and studied. No book needed.

Mr. Ivory is the best teacher Ive ever had. Hes knowledgeable, hilarious, caring , and an excellent teacher. I wish every teacher was like him. I was so sad when the class was over. His class is simple; take notes. Everything that he test you on will be on the board during the lecture. Study your notes, you will pass. Magnificent teacher!!!

Very great professor! He lectures very well, writes notes on the board as he goes. You have 4 tests total- only things you're graded on. No homework or quizzes. He keeps 3/4 highest scores on tests for your grade. Must attend class, take notes and study, will get an A.

I've always hated Government type of courses, however this is a pre-req for the Nursing. I just want to share, Professor Ivory is phenomenal! Every class is a lecture but never boring! He always uses examples, it always helped me remember things needed to ace his tests! Which were EASY! Love this guy! Wish he was an option for ALL courses!

Excellent instructor! Class is upbeat! 4 test total, 85 questions per test. Professor final grade is based on your top 3 test scores out of 4. I enjoyed his lectures, he definitely knows his stuff! I would definitely take his claaa again. I must admit you must study your notes! I barely used the text book!! What's in your notes is on your test.

Professor Ellis is the best teacher that I have ever had in WCCCD. He helped me to understand our Government more personally. I have never been taught in such a way that made me hate when his class was over. He wants everyone to pass and he will help you do so. He cares about his students. God Bless Professor Ellis!

This professor is hands down the best. I am currently finishing up the fall semester with him. He is so respectful and understanding. His class is just lectures and notes. It's 4 exams total but drops your lowest. As long as you come to class everyday, write everything he writes on the board then you'll do good. Everything he lectures on and writes will be on the exam. I would recommend him to others for sure!

I took this class Summer 2016. Loved prof ivory 10/10 recommend and would definetly take again! Very intelligent, knows a lot about what he's teaching about. Classes are nothing but lectures but he lectures exactly what will be on test. 4 tests throughout the semester and he drops one. Average those scores and that's your grade. Didn't need a book.

All you have to do to pass this class is take notes and study the notes. Everything he talks about in class is on the test there are no trick questions and he gives you an extra credit question at the end. If you pass the first 3 test you don't have to take the final. It's a really easy class!

I took Professor Ivory for American Government. This man is a walking encyclopedia. He has such a broad wealth of knowledgeinformation. He lectures in a way that draws you in, he makes you understand the laws, rules, the judicial system, and most importantly, POLITICS (the games people play). You really dont need your book, unless you miss a class or dont take notes in class. The tests are directly from his lectures. There is extra credit points on each test. There are only 4 tests, and the lowest grade gets dropped (no notes or books during tests). Take his class, come to class, listen to the lectures, take good notes, study for the test, pass the class (learn something in the process) - it's that easy. I would take him again. I highly recommend him.

Professor ivory was a great teacher , I didn't get a A but I think he explained everything greatly amd he helped me better understand us govern ment more than I ever knew, great man, drops a exam and gives you extra credit answers . excellent teacher.. very helpful and down to earth. very knowledgeable about the government, he's high standard professor, so he's class is not easy. you have to work very hard to pass his class. take notes and pay close attention to lectures and note down every single detail. the test is gonna be very hard if you don't take notes.

What a wonderful instructor. Every class he lectures the whole time, off the top of his head. He really knows his facts. I didn't put the studying effort time into the notes I had taken to recieve a great grade but I still thought he was a highly informed funny man. Keeps your interest in the class with his bright spirit!
